12 week check up

I woke up this morning so excited about my 12 week check up. To only hear my dr say "I don't hear a heart beat" : she said it may be her equipment. So I'm hoping so.

    Ugh, I'm sorry. Are you getting an ultrasound? Hang in there.

    I'm also wondering if they sent you for an us...

    My doc couldn't find a hb on he Doppler but I had just come out of my us so we knew everything was ok. Plus I have my own Doppler and I told her Ive heard the hb a bunch of times so she didn't spend too much trying to find it herself.

    Could still be early or your LO could have been hiding from the Doppler! Hope they give you an us for some reassurance.

    What PP said - are you getting an u/s? FX for you that it was just her equipment, and everything is fine.

    I guess if the baby is moving around a lot, they have a hard time finding it. Fingers crossed for you!

    I have a Doppler, most of the time I can find the HB but sometimes is just hiding! Fingers crossed for you, please keep us updated.

    Fingers crossed and I hope it's just what the previous person said that baby is probably just moving around. I went to my 12 week appointment today as well, but the ultrasound tech wasn't available. : I was so bummed out. So I will have to wait to see the baby on Friday.

    Thanks for the warning that this may be a trigger. I'm going for my 12 week tomorrow and this just totally freaked me out. on another note, I'm sure everything is fine.

    If you need a trigger I would suggest going back to Baby Center...it is probably a better fit for you....

    Thank God everything turned out OK with the baby. So happy for you!

    To the other people on this post jumping down my throat, Relax yourselves!!!!!! Maybe it came out wrong, but my point was I was expecting a happy post (based on the way the subject line was written) and it was a scary one. I was thinking of myself being in this poor girls position in less than 24 hours. It did freak me out. And to anyone that reads about scary situations, miscarriages, etc and doesn't think of those things happening to themselves, your lying. I also stated everything would be fine for her, but I guess saying I was freaked out was more important for you people to focus on. Get over yourselves.
