Hi all!

I don't have any info as of yet except "twins". My last US was at 7 weeks when the Dr saw (and showed me) 2 heartbeats. I didn't know enough about twins, and was in too much shock, to ask any questions. I go back to the Dr Wednesday for a 9 week US. My official due date is Feb 4, but I've read twins usually come early so I'm guessing mid-January.

It took me a few days for the news to really sink in. I don't know any twins - none in my family, none of friends are or have twins, etc. To say it was a shock was an understatement! But now I'm excited - nervous - but excited.

UPDATE: 22 weeks tomorrow! 2 more weeks until we reach viability! Cannot believe it. Nothing new happening here, other than discovering the prenatal cradle. That thing is amazing and I am pretty sure it will help me make it through! I need to get one in a bigger size, I have a small and it is uncomfortable when I am seated. I think I need a medium.

QOTW: I think we have settled on Vincent & Dominic. My husband wants a Vinnie, although I am not sold on the name Vincent/Vinnie I feel like I have to just deal with it. If I could name my boys without my H's help, their names would be Eliot & Wesley or Dominic & Xavier.

Baby A isnt growing like she should so I've been concentrating on increasing my calories and protein in a healthy way. Hard to do when I'm never hungry. Go back to the doctor for a growth check next week.

I can't believe how fast time is flying by! I'm already 28 weeks!!

Hi all,

We've been holding steady on sbr. We are 27w/1d today. The last two MFM appointments have been really good which is a big change for us, and even we're so glad. The Perinatologist suggest we don't got past 36 weeks, and I'll talk to my OB about her plans on Wednesday.

Update: 23w this week! We got a crib last weekend which was exciting. We're starting out with just one crib. It looks so much bigger in the nursery than it did in the store! I don't know how we're going to eventually fit 2 in there! Babies are kicking alot now and both measuring right on target. I've developed pubic symphesis dysfunction unfortunately which is making it very difficult to walk . I'm a little bummed out about it because I finally have a little energy for the first time in this pregnancy and would like to start gettting some things done, but its painful to walk or stand more than about 10 minutes at a time. I really thought I'd be able to make it until August before these kinds of aches and pains set in. Sad

QOTW: Haley and Elizabeth are the names we've got so far. We haven't done much thinking about middle names yet.

Hello ladies!

I'll be 23 weeks tomorrow YAY!! Next u/s is on July 9th, nothing new to report otherwise. Feeling good, lots of movement too.

QOTW: Our top 2 names are Jacob and Juliette, I've been using them since found out the genders.

DH likes them but he says he needs to get used to them before he can make a decision. His reasoning is that I already "know" them and therefore it's easier for me to give them names. Others on our lists are: Nicholas, Autumn and Penelope. DS is Daniel.

Hello! I am 24 weeks 5 days. Smooth sailing so far!! We still have to agree on names for our boy and girl, but DS2 seems to have that handled!! He suggested Bubba and Bullet!

I am 13 weeks today and had a great NT scan & Mat21 test results last week. The Mat 21 test showed that we are having at least one boy but won't find out if it is a boy/boy or boy/girl combo until July 25th.

After telling family and friends, we went public on Facebook last Friday. It is so nice to no longer have to hide it, especially because I have been so sick. Am actually starting to get a little concerned because the Dr. Luke book says based on my BMI, I should have gained at least 13 pounds by now. Instead, I have lost 4 and still can barely keep anything down.

I have an appointment with the nurse practitioner at my MFM tomorrow so am hoping to go over nutrition stuff. It gets a little more complicated because I have been allergic to milk and eggs since I was a kid and have been a vegetarian for the past 23 years. I am willing to try to eat meat again though for the sake of healthy babies but just don't know how I will keep that down too since just the idea of eating meat again grosses me out. Fingers crossed!

I'm now on less strict bed rest and slowing working on increasing time on my feet. Off bed and pelvic rest next Sun with pending induction on July 14th (36 w).

Names: Our leading name for the boy is Henry. I think it's a cute name and it's my mother's maiden name. William, my grandfather father's name, is our second choice. DH and I cannot agree on a girl's name. We each hate each other suggestions, so we have nothing on the list.

First MoMs check in!! Currently a little over 15 weeks and babies are due 12/21. All going well right now. Looking forward to OB appt on Wednesday and hoping they do U/S again so I can see the LOs. Last time babes were laying too close to use Doppler. Only 3 more weeks until A/S! Looking forward to knowing they are healthy and of course, the sexes.

I have been having unexplained bleeding since last Tuesday. It is really freaking me out. The good news is that I went in for a quick ultrasound today and she said everything looks fine. Twin A is measuring a few days behind and they said that A's fluid is also a little low. They also said that it is really too early to accurately see fluid. I go in to see the specialist next week to check if things still look ok. I will be so relieved once I see them. Anyone else have experience with unexplained bleeding at 12/13 weeks?

We have picked out boys and girls names. All family names.

33 weeks today! I should be hearing from the surgery scheduler with my csection date today or tomorrow! Although with all of the contractions I have been having for the past few days, I wonder if I will make it there! Only about 4 weeks left regardless and I am ready.

First check in. Due date 1/7
13w tomorrow and doing well! My bloat has finally gone away and I think/FTM here/I have the beginning signs of a bump. My appetite surprisingly has gone down even though I had very little m/s throughout my first trimester. Next appointment and u/s is the 15th. I'll get to meet with the OB for the first time as my first appointment was with the midwife. Excited to finally "go public" with our news once we are able to have one more look at our little ones!

Boy names: Luke Robert
We haven't even considered that we might need to decide on a second one!
Girl names: DH and I can't agree. Our possibilities so far are...Charlotte, Evelyn, Kendall, Emerson

Hello Ladies!!!

Week 8 kicking my but so far all day sickness im calling it. I am already showing so i had to tell my bosses (One of them asked me LOL). Tired sleepy, lots of non stop cramps & nauseas ... But happy to be pregnant so its all worth it!!!

Hi! Checking in. We have an appointment this Friday, not sure if there will be an ultrasound. We do have a check-up on the 30th, which will be the 20 week mark so we should be able to tell what they are at that point.

I'm doing ok, but am so ready to be done with these headaches. I would almost rather prefer the nausea (I never had vomiting), because that was uncomfortable, this headache business is painful!

Otherwise, all is good. My 2 dogs have gotten especially cuddly lately. One is 35 lbs. the other is 65 lbs., so snuggling on the chair is getting harder. The big one likes to lay his head on my tummy. Wait until they start kicking! ha ha ha

And, a dumb question...what are di/di twins? I feel kind of dumb. I had tried finding it but couldn't. Thanks!

Update: 21 weeks tomorrow. Getting bigger! We are on vacation right now. Funny moment My tray on the plane could not clear my belly. Getting some serious kicks now. Previously, I only felt brushes or nudges. Now I feel full on kicks. Nervous about travelling but have been resting and trying to take care if myself. Both my OB and MFM cleared me last week so I have to trust the experts.

QOTW: My hubby and I both have unusual, hard to pronounce correctly, and easy to misspell names. It was very important to us to avoid that with our kids. We managed to come up with four names for all the possibilities. I thought it would be harder to agree but we managed to think of all of them in a few weeks and one we had thought of ob our honeymoon. I cannot post them because they are a bit too personally identifiable.

So excited to make it to 36 weeks tomorrow. Although I am not on strict bed rest, modified, it may as well be more because of some issues. Baby B has caused torn cartilage and separated ribs on one side. So walking more than a few steps causes extreme pain.

Nevertheless, I am excited to meet the boys and start our next chapter. I have my MFM appt and reg OB appt tomorrow. Hoping to leave with a plan.

We have names picked out but it is the one secret we are keeping.

Things are going well for me. Had an ultrasound last Friday at 30 weeks. Baby A was measuring 3.1 lbs and Baby B was measuring 3.8 lbs. They are growing and healthy. Still working full time and was thinking I will work right up until delivery, but I am thinking I just want to get through this month.

For names, we are pretty confident on Natalie Sue and Eloise Mae.

Hi ladies,

I have not checked in for a while. I will be 26 weeks tomorrow. Today is the start of my second week of bed rest. It's modified so I am allowed to get up and shower, get water, etc. I had a growth scan today and Baby A measured 2 lbs 3 oz one week ahead and Baby B is 1 lb 14 oz right on target.

Just got home from a day in LD. I mentioned to my OB that I thought I was having Braxton hicks because I would feel a tightening of my abdomen every now and again if my hands were on my belly. She asked how often and I was not sure because I am not feeling anything internally. So she sent me over to the hospital to be monitored and it turns out I am having very frequent BH at one point every 4 minutes but I'm not at all dilated so they are letting me continue bed rest at home which I am very thankful for, I do not want hospital bed rest. It's crazy to me that I can be contracting that frequently and not be feeling anything!

QOTW: We are naming our girls Ruby Jean and Charlie Mae. Both are derivatives of family names.

25 weeks 2 days. At appointment on Thursday, Doppler showed intermittent flow to baby B. Not encouraging but he is still getting some flow so we hope for the best. Back for another check on Wednesday, feeling lots of movement which makes me feel better but hard to tell if it is one or both babies because they are right on top of each other.

We haven't come close to picking names yet. Boy names are hard!

Hey everyone! We had our munchkins on June 23 at 3:16 and 3:17am via Csection as baby boy Sahil was breech and his sister Karina was transverse. Haven't had much time to update anything as its been a whirlwind of a week, but got a free minute and figured I'd update y'all. Thank you so much for all the support throughout my pregnancy...now the real fun starts!!

Di/di means separate placentas and amniotic sacs. We don't refer to them as fraternal bc about 10 percent of di/di twins are actually identical. If someone has had IVF and put back two embryos it is even more likely the twins would be fraternal but it's still not a guarantee.

Update: Nothing really...we are still moving right along beautifully. Both the girls move a lot and I find myself just sitting there holding my stomach feeling them move and stretch...it's one of the coolest things I've ever experienced.

QOTW: We have first names but aren't completely settled on one of the middle names....as of right now, A is Evelyn (still debating middle) and B is Jocelyn Freya

I haven't checked in for a few weeks. My babies are here. They are one month old! I was induced at 39w. Corinna was born at 240 weighing 6 lbs 4 ozs and Weston was born at 321 weighing 7 lbs 11 ozs.

Hi all,

34 weeks today and when I went to my appointment this morning I noticed some blood when giving my urine sample. Dr. says I am losing my plug and apparently I was having a contraction while he was measuring me. I think I expected them to be more intense so I thought it was more bh.

My doctor is not worried if I go into labor at anytime since I am 34 weeks and both babies have passed all their tests at the specialist during my biophysical scans and ultrasounds. I freaked out a bit though!

Just hoping to keep them in a week or two more at least.

Our boys names are Cooper Timothy and Griffin Thomas.

Hi! I'm 34 weeks yesterday and just had my second L&D visit last week. This one turned into an overnight stay due to twin A scoring 6 out of 8 during the biophysical and me having contractions ( most of which I never felt!). All is good now.

My sister in laws threw me a surprise sprinkle yesterday with my close family members invited as well. I was so overwhelmed and surprised I thought I would go into labor right there. Maybe yelling out "surprise" wasn't the best idea lol but they are all so excited over our new arrivals.

The names we picked out are: Max Noe and Giuliana Concettina. Noe is my fathers name and Concettina was my grandmother who I prayed to ALOT during a rough infertility period. My grandmother loved kids and had TEN of her own.

Not much new here to update on either. Regular monthly appointment tomorrow and I think we will schedule our first 3rd trimester u/s for next week. It will be awesome to see our boys again. They sure have been acting like little break dancers lately. Haha.

Qotw: Our boy names are picked out and Im almost are a definite. We have Anthony John, we will call him A.J., for baby A. He is named after both of our dads. Baby B will be Carson Zachary. If it were ALL up to me and DH had no say, there is a 50 percent chance the boys would be Carson Anthony and Zachary John so that each boy got a grandfathers name. But, since DH has a say, it probably wont be even though Im not ruling it out completely.

Hi all,
31 weeks today! I have a growth u/s next week so hopefully more exciting info then. I have to give a round of applause to the amazing MoM who carry their babies to 38 wks and beyond. I feel like I'm going to explode! Plus I live in the beautiful state of AZ, or what we like to call the surface of the sun, where the temp has been 112 and above for the last week. So the gist of me right now is, my own gravitational pull and the fact the we will be enjoying a 700 electric bill this month. My DH and I are really bad baby planners! My 5yr olds birthday was the end of June and he was born in Vegas. That's it, just complaining while waiting out the last few weeks.

QOTW We have had names picked since before we knew we were pregnant, Shaun Christopher and Elizabeth Josephine.

Hey guys!

I'm 15w2d today. Feeling much better these days. Still not seeping well. I got a snoogle yesterday and I need to get used to it. I puked for the first time yesterday after brushing my tongue. haha. I have my next appt. with my new OB/GYN on July 12. I'm hoping since they haven't seen me before they will do an u/s and we might be able to tell sex (I'll be 16w5d). DD insists it's a boy and girl.

Di/di means separate placentas and amniotic sacs. We don't refer to them as fraternal bc about 10 percent of di/di twins are actually identical. If someone has had IVF and put back two embryos it is even more likely the twins would be fraternal but it's still not a guarantee.
