I was definitely not in the popular crowd. Nor was I a jock, nerd, goth or any other stereotypical group. My friends and I were just there having our own fun.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle?
I borrowed my moms '93 Explorer. It was awesome.
Did you have a curfew? Nope
After school job?
Movie rental store. It was awesome to sit and watch movies all the time. There were a lot of pervy old men who would frequent the "adult" room. It was funny when they'd notice me at the grocery store and duck away.
Best class?
History. It also helped that my teacher was a hottie. Also French was fun!
Worst class?
Chemistry. Eff that class.
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer?
A mix of both. Definitely a B student.
Boyfriends/girlfriends? Two. The entire time. My first when I was a freshman for 3 months. Then DH my junior year for a year.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? Partying, drinking. I wasn't very wild.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? I did not have a car at this time. I got my license the day before I moved to SoCal for college.
Did you have a curfew? Nope. But I never had a reason to be out late.
After school job? I did office tasks at my dad's work. I filed many billing statements for strawberries being shipped to Japan.
Best class? Probably English or Art
Worst class? I didn't have any bad classes, but I didn't enjoy history as much as my other classes. Still interesting though.
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer? Both. Mostly A's, occasional B's.
Boyfriends/girlfriends? I started dating DH right before my junior year. Never dated anyone else.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? Wasn't that kind of kid.
What group or "clique" did you roll with?
I didn't really have a clique that I belonged to, I floated between different groups.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle?
I didn't have my own car until I was 24 and I bought it with my own money.
Did you have a curfew?
I didn't have a curfew, I knew what was expected of me and I made sure I came home at a reasonable hour.
After school job?
I worked at a grocery store where I organized the shelves. After that I job I worked at an amusement park in the rides division.

English and art

If I was interested I was REALLY interested but if not I just did the bare minimum.

Nope, not until college.

I didn't really do anything crazy. I was really serious.
I played every sport in highschool (Volleyball, softbal, bastketball, track, cheerleading) If we would have had anything else, I probably would have attempted it haha!! I did not have time for a personal life lol!.
What group or "clique" did you roll with? We had a very small school. I graduated in a class of 52. We really did not have "cliques" I guess I hung around with the jocks, if i had to pick though.

What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer? Very Studious, becuase I had to keep my grades up to play sports
Boyfriends/girlfriends? 1 for about 3 months, but I did not really have time for boys! I was to invested in sports and school.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? Lied to my parents about being at a party... Which I told them later hah!

My class was 53! I also played as many sports as I could.
I should add that DH lived 400 miles away, so I only saw him about once a month. I wouldn't have had time for a typical high school relationship.
What group or "clique" did you roll with? I didn't really roll with a clique per se. I had friends at school and friends at my church youth group, but not a main group of always-there friends.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? 1999 Honda Civic. My parents gave it to me when I turned 17. It was brand new then & we still drive it (DH mainly since I drive the minivan now).
Did you have a curfew? Not really because it wasn't an issue for me. It was loosely 11 pm in 11th grade and midnight in 12th grade.
After school job? None - I worked at The Gap during the summer before my senior year. And babysat. ETA: Oh yeah, I forgot I answered phones for a friend's dad's business 2-3 afternoons a week my senior year.
Best class? Spanish
Worst class? Geometry (it was the only class I ever got a B in for a quarter grade)
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer? Studious. 5 hours of homework a night by senior year. I took 3 AP classes my junior year & 5 my senior year. Made straight A's all the way through, graduated 8th out of 450, went to college with 41 AP credit hours, yada yada. High school was the peak of my intelligence, lol.
Boyfriends/girlfriends? None. I was "in love" with a guy my senior year but he was a bit of a player & then he moved away. Didn't have a boyfriend until I was 20 and a junior in college.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? Helped my friend saran wrap our other friend's car in the parking lot during school. We got caught doing it but told the administrators that our yearbook teacher said we could, as a birthday joke for this guy. Then we went & got her permission after the fact & she loved us so she just laughed.
What group or "clique" did you roll with?
I was in the nice, popular group for a year, and then I just kind of morphed into my own thing. I was involved in a lot of things, so I didn't really end up associating with one group.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle?
Purple probe! It was rockin' with my sun roof and music system. My parent's bought it for me, and it was $3k.

Not really.

I was a waitress and then worked at a video store.

Boyfriend that I ended up marrying and then divorcing. Ahhh I was smart but dumb.
Wildest thing you did as a teen?
Get married.What group or "clique" did you roll with? An odd sort... Mostly, I hung with fellow band nerds. Some of my best friends were also fellow smart kid nerds from gifted education. However, I was a cheerleader, so I also attended quite a few "popular kid" parties.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? My parents bought me a 1991 Geo Metro when I turned 16. It was a POS and died frequently.
Did you have a curfew? Not really. I wasn't allowed to leave the house unless it was for a football game or competition (cheer or band) or on the rare occasion staying with a friend.
After school job? I worked at a nursing home, a state park, then a frozen custard shop. The nursing home and state park gigs were summer jobs, though, before I got the job at the custard place. I worked there for a total of 8 years since I worked weekends through college. I worked there one more year 2 years ago when I REALLY needed a summer job and couldn't find anything in AZ. I came home for that summer and lived with my mom. I LOVED that job.
Best class? Language arts has always been my best subject. I've never gotten less than an A. I sat first chair in band. I took all advanced math classes. I got a B, once, in pre-calculus. Because I got a B, I never took calculus.
Worst class? Government was my worst class. I HATED it. I got an A, but I learned nothing. I'm actually horrible with all "social studies" courses.
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer? I've always been a last minute crammer/procrastinator. I've never truly studied for anything. I've also never finished a project or paper before the night before it was due.
Boyfriends/girlfriends? I dated my ex-husband all through high school. He was the bad boy/drummer type.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? I had sex at 15 and got drunk a few times off of Aftershock and Boones Farm. Oh, and I shoplifted makeup once.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? 1997 Mercury Tracer. My parents bought it.

After school job? I worked at the radio station 2 days a week!

Wildest thing you did as a teen? I climbed over the fence to the public pool, and swam naked after prom. I was shiitty drunk, and I embarrassed my best friend.
I also cut my hair into a mohawk.

Wildest thing you did as a teen? Have a threesome, steal from Smitty's, stay out till 5am while in Germany talking to cute Italian older men
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? My first car was a 1989 Honda Accord, four door. great car! My daddy bought it for me
Did you have a curfew? YES- I think it was 9 or 10pm on weekends. My folks were super strict, however I guess not strict enough as I ended KTFU at 17 YO
After school job? I worked as an usher for the local coliseum

Boyfriends/girlfriends? I dated a football player in middle of grade 10-grade 11. Then my DS1's dad in grade 11 and 12
Wildest thing you did as a teen? had sex in the basement of the high school
What group or "clique" did you roll with?- had a fairly well known group of girl friends for the first two years, then we made friends with a group of guys and our "clique" was fairly large. Wouldn't say we were popular but we were all well liked. It was a very odd mash up of people which made it so fun.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle?-- Honda accord, it was my moms she gave to me when she got a new(used) car. It was old and had its issues but it got me to and from and thats all that mattered
Did you have a curfew?-- yea but it depended on the circumstances. I was never really a crazy kid, so the time would change depending on what I was doing. Of course there were a few times where I was "spending the night" at a friends house so that I didn't have to be home at a particular time but it was few and far between.
After school job?- not in high school, didnt have to get a job until college, but I see how it can be beneficial and I think I would want my child to have an after school job
Best class?- I loved science
Worst class?- anything math related.
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer?- I was studious, always made sure I did my work and on time. Not that I didnt cram for a test or put things off but I was always afraid of getting bad grades.
Boyfriends/girlfriends?-a few boyfriends and then I met my now DH my senior year.
Wildest thing you did as a teen?- hmm probably just going to parties or sneaking around with my boyfriend (now dh) I really wasnt that bad of a kid, and the funniest part is we love to tell stories to my parents now and they look all shocked and mortified haha

Boyfriends/girlfriends? technically 2, 1 for a year my senior year, and the second one was just a friend and we decided to date for like two weeks-but it was too weird so we stopped lol
Wildest thing you did as a teen? had small drinking parties and my friends house and went clubbing on the "teen nights"
I was in the athletic group and I also hung out with the drama group.
I never had a car and still don't drive.
Curfew was midnight, more likely to be drunks on the road after that time.
After school job was working at the stables and some babysitting.
Best class was biology class
Worst class was geography only because our teacher was an idiot.
I was last minute Cramer but I was naturally clever and found high school too slow for me so I was last minute because I got bored easily.
Boyfriend was DH but he was only at the school when I was in grade 9 then he was at university.
Wildest thing? I can't actually remember, we had a wild basketball team and I'm sure we did crazy things while away on tournaments, I just can't remember now.
What group or "clique" did you roll with? My group of friends were floaters from all other groups. Some were in the band, or drama club, we all played sports and were involved with lots around the school.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? 1993 Chevy Corsica. It was my mom's and she got a new car when I as a jr in high school so I paid to transfer title and it was mine! Had a lot of great memories with that car.
Did you have a curfew? Yes! School nights my mom wanted me home by 10 and weekends and summers it was Midnight, could be later if I called. Needless to say I spent the night at a lot of friends houses in hs.
After school job? I worked from age 15 until I graduated from college at a local farm market. Did everything from caring for the flowers, helping out in the bakery, cashier to working in the fields.

Worst class? Advanced Chemistry. Was the first time I ever got a C in school.
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer? I never really had to study much. I would get my homework done at school before going home. Study there etc. A lot of times I remember studying in homeroom the morning of the test.
Boyfriends/girlfriends? I had some crushes but never started dating until i was 18 the fall of my senior year. 9.5 yrs later and that first boyfriend is now my husband!
Wildest thing you did as a teen? We would go out in my friends Big van and sit in the back seat and fling open the doors and flash people. Umm skinny dipping, and buying news papers shredding them up and throwing them in peoples yards. Real rebels let me tell you!
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? It was a Mercury Marquee with an all digital early 80s interior. I got it from my uncle. We called it KIT, obviously.

After school job? Waiting tables at a steakhouse 20 hrs a week. Totally class since I am a vegetarian.

Boyfriends/girlfriends? A few casual and one serious BF. we were together for years and are still friends.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? Hitchhiked around Germany after graduation.
I hung out with an interesting crowd. We were kind of goth/punk, but most of us were also dancers and computer geeks.
1984 Chevy Celebrity, it was a hand-me-down from my older sister.
As long as I was home at a "reasonable time", stayed on honor roll, didn't have the cops knocking on the door, and didn't get knocked up, I didn't really have a curfew. I had an interesting situation: I lived with my grandma during the week because I went to private school my junior and senior year and she lived 30 miles closer than my parents. It was still a 40 mile drive to school every day. My grandma didn't want to make rules since she wasn't my parent, and my parents said I wasn't really living with them so they couldn't enforce rules. So I kind of made my own rules. I landed at my grandma's or parents' houses to sleep. I was gone 7am to midnight+ most days.
Junior and senior year: Grocery store and babysitting. I babysat after school on days I had dance class. When I didn't have dance class, I worked at the grocery store.
I didn't really have a "worst class".
I actually hope LO is "average" instead of "gifted", because it was a big transition for me when I got into the real world, I actually had to do something! Even through college, I was used to doing nothing and getting better results than most people.
The class I graduated with at private school was 86.
But my freshman and sophomore year, my class was 21.
There were 3 towns that attended my school. And we were the "big class"! Some of the classes were less than 10 people. Our football field only went to the 40 yard line, we played 6 and 8 man football. You can FINALLY buy gas in town rather than 20 miles away; there's a single pump in the middle of a gravel lot, credit card only as there is no store there.
What was your first car and how did you acquire said vehicle? Chevy cavalier my parents bought it for me.
Did you have a curfew? Yup midnight
After school job? Yes I was a caddy at a local country club on the weekends and I worked at the local ice cream shop.

Worst class? Math by far!
What kind of student were you: Studious? Last minute crammer? Umm I did good but didn't try to hard I was more into my social life.
Boyfriends/girlfriends? I had lots! Haha but I met DH my junior year and we dated from that point on.
Wildest thing you did as a teen? Hmm too many to count!!
1. Band geeks for life.
2. First car = 1988 Ford Tempo (but a year later I got an adorable 1986 BMW 325, which was the coolest.) My parents bought the Tempo from my step-grandma.
3. It changed throughout high school, but I think it was usually 10:00 on weeknights and 11:00 on weekends.
4. I waitressed a little, but mostly was a lifeguard. Good hours, great pay!

7. Fairly studious, but not to the point of being in the top 10 or anything. I got As and Bs, and I scored REALLY well on standardized tests. I'm just one of those people.
8. I dated the same guy all through high school. He was a really good guy and we had a solid relationship; no drama!
9. I didn't do a whole lot of weird or crazy things. It was mostly good clean fun, like renting a whole bowling alley for after prom.
