Faint + or Evap Line?

What is the difference? I can't tell, and I know this is an inappropriate question on TTCAL, so I figured I would ask it here...The pink test shows a shadow, but no definable line, and my blue test has a very thin line... I hate this.

My cycle was super wonky with multiple temp spikes and drops this month and 11 days of +OPKs so it's a matter of whether or not I continue my progesterone...

My RE's rule of thumb is to continue progesterone until full flow or negative blood test. Does your doctor plan a blood draw for you?

My insurance only covers blood betas to reconfirm positive urine tests, so I would be out over $300 a months for betas, so we use hpts first, then betas as confirmation.

Stick with FRER and avoid the potential false positives. I hope this is it!

LOL I love you for this... I only have the blue tests because a store was going out of business in town and my friend bought me all of their left over tests (that weren'y expired) for $1.50 a two pack... Gotta love friends that get it.

Someone wiser may correct me, but I believe an evap line usually shows up after the expiration time period (usually 10-15 min and listed in directions). Best bet is probably to spring for a digital or just wait until tomorrow morning to test again. Hope it's real!
I agree. FX for a real positive! 

FX for you too. My line was super faint and took a whole to appear the first day, and has been progressively darker since.

I answered your question over on TTCAL but please do not respond to it over there.

You have a line so do not stop progesterone! Also, (and someone can correct me if I am wrong) but I do not think you want to stop on a certain cycle day - that would not take into account when you O'd. My RE gave me instructions to take until 14dpo and then stop if I had a negative test - and even that makes me nervous that I may stop before a positive would have been picked up.

Keep using the progesterone and test again tomorrow.

Sucks that all you can do is wait it out, but that's pretty much the only way to really tell what the test was. Fingers crossed that tomorrow is a definite line for you!
