I get irrationally annoyed by Gerald on Sid the Science Kid. Like, I want to throw things at the TV everything I see or hear this cartoon 6 year old.
LOl, I know what you are talking about, that whole show is annoying. I feel the same way about Caillou, and that is definitely DD's favorite show right now, but his voice is just SOOOOO annoying, and he is such a whiner, I can't stand him.
I get the same way with Mike the Knight. It's more tolerable than most of the shows, but he's just so goddam stupid!!! Gah! And every time we watch Octonauts I get the stupid creature report song stuck in my head...
And cue "Creature Report" in my head for the rest of the day! Darn you goodpotato...

Creature report... hahaha! Love it.

So, funny story, we all got the flu in March. And I made up a song to the tune of creature report:

Toilet report, toilet report, -- Toilet report (in high pitched tone)

We're all done with the sh*tin', undies at ease, until the next explosion!

I know I'm a wierdo... but I like to make songs up!

Driving home just now I noticed a dead squirrel in the middle of my street. I think it's the same squirrel that ran in front of my car as I was leaving the house earlier. I killed a squirrel.

That sucks. When DD and I were going to the dog park we had a bunny zip out in front of us from the bushes. I couldn't stop in time and the poor bunny was street pizza. I'm sure I looked like a lunatic crying about it in the car. I'm sorry!

I work on the 33rd floor so I have to take the elevator, and I seriously judge people who get in on the 27th floor and take the elevator up to the 28th floor. They have an internal staircase in that office too! Who would wait for the elevator in a 34-story building to go up ONE FLOOR?

I've always thought push presents were a bit silly, but now that I've felt sh!tty for the past 9 months and am facing pushing a baby out my vag, I kin of want one... I just asked DH if he was getting me one, and he laughed and said no. Well, at least I can be disappointed now and not later!

I am ashamed to admit this, but yesterday I sat in my chair to eat breakfast with DD. She was in her high chair and I usually use a wooden one. Now, in my defense, this chair is something like 10 years old and we got it second hand at good will. I've been sitting in it forever with no problems. Well, not this time. This time the legs cracked out from under me and I fell to the side. Thankfully it wasn't that far to the floor and my pride was hurt more than the rest of me. I have a bruise on my hip/side. I confess that it made me feel like a fat, fcuking cow man. Like, I've NEVER broken a piece of furniture just by sitting in it. shameI called my OB and they just want me to monitor movement and watch for any bleeding. I've got great movement from my Little Lion DS so I'm not really worried about anything in there. I hurt and feel really foolish. nbsp;

Aww, Prim. That sucks!

Also, I've been calling Hunter my Little Lion!

My confession is we had to borrow money from my parents, a lot of money, for infertility treatments. It really was a last resort we had already spent 30K of all our savings. It just didn't make sense to take a bank loan and spend thousands more in interest. I made a payment chart to stick to a certain payment every quarter so that they get all of it back and hopefully we can still spend as we want and not feel quilty if we take a vacation or something.

GAH! I'm glad only your ego is hurt. I have broken chairs before as well, and I'm not a fat azz by any means... just tall and not "model thin".

I don't think there's anything wrong with it if family is willing and the person giving the money can afford to. But it shouldn't be expected just because you're family.
This baby is obviously a huge gift to them too: they're becoming grandparents and get to watch you become a mother. That's priceless. But for people to purposely not budget and save, that's their fault. If I had family that truly fell on hard times and was trying, it would be different. I would gladly do what I could. But I have no compassion for someone that doesn't want to help themself.

I think push presents are silly too since I already admit and totally love I am spoiled wife! But I teased DH about andhe said "I just got you nice new vacuum" We laugh about it but he warned me not to tell his mom, he would totally get in trouble if I told his mom he got me a vacuum as gift lol.

I think push presents are silly... because if you really want something to show for 9 months of helz, treat yourself! Go shopping and buy something awesome for what you've put up with and then you don't have to worry about being disappointed in YH. )

Wait a second, you know you can have two separate celebrations anyway right? You could do his/her bday the weekend BEFORE the fourth. You can do it with any holiday.

yeah that's what I would end up doing. In reality I just want this baby born more than I care which day. But if I could choose.. No fourth!
