Started Lupron last night.

QOTD: How old where you and where were you when you had your first kiss. We're talking real kiss, not a little peck.

It was the summer between 6th and 7th grade (I think--might have been 5th and 6th) and it was in the dugout at the little league field.

Please forgive me if I missed anyone today. I'm clearly having issues (random spaces that I can't get rid of) today. Haven't slept, laptop with a virus and this morning our internet decided to stop working so this lovely check-in comes to you from my local Panera!

I had my baseline appt yesterday and I got the green light to start stims tomorrow night. Such a sigh of relief after getting cancelled last month.

QOTD: Hmmm, I think I was 18 and in college. I know totally lame, total late bloomer.

Had my baseline appointment yesterday and my doctor was happy with my lining and ovaries and was very happy with my antral follicle count which was around 15. She said this cycle is off to a great start. I start stims on Saturday, can't believe how quickly things will be moving along now!
QOTD: I think I was in 6th or 7th grade. My boyfriend was named Matt and I met him at the local ice skating rink. The relationship didn't last long, but we are still friends.

Hi All!

Started stims last night, holy huge needle Menopur/Bravelle! Sheesh! My fragile X test came back negative this week, my AMH has gone from .3 to 2.14 in 6 months & my ovaries looked plentiful. They're going to retest my AMH tomorrow because they can't believe it. FX that all these good things mean we won't need to do a 2nd or donor cycle!

QOTD: I don't think I had a real kiss until I was like 16 on Spring Break. LOL! That's a fun question!!

Still chugging along on BCP. I just found out that my clinic only starts stims on Fridays so I am worried that if I don't get my Lupron bleed within 5 days once I stop the pills that I will be pushed back a week which would put my ET into August! I am going to stick around here until things really get moving and I can tell better I hope you don't mind! I am sure the August folks are lovely but I like being a firefly! Plus, I really hope my body cooperates and I am not delayed!

Qotd. Summer going into 6th grade on a field between our swim club and a school. Too funny!

My clinic does this too, start on Friday, but if you start your bleed late/don't get one, for my clinic anyway it was ok. I usually was still spotting/light bleeding into stims up to about day 4 or so. Try not to worry too much!

Hey ladies!

I can't believe AF isn't here yet. I thought at the latest it would have come by yesterday. Today is day 32 of this cycle, but last cycle's period was following an IVF cycle, so I guess my body is just all confused. BLARG. I really want to get this FET cycle going! It's a natural cycle, so it all depends on when I start AF and when I ovulate. UGH! I can't believe this is taking so long. We are leaving town this weekend with friends, and if I get AF tomorrow, it's going to be such a pain, because I'll have to drive back into town for my suppression check over the weekend.

Anyways, QOTD: My first kiss was with my DH! We were 17, and it was at my parent's house near the porch. It was early fall...we went in for the kiss...and we bumped teeth. :- It was completely awkward...so we laughed. Clearly, we recovered. 13 years later...here we are. 5 years married this summer, 13 years together in all. I love him.

Hi Fireflies!! I hope everyone is well! I was sitting outside the other night with DH and there were fireflies all over our backyard :] Couldn't help but smile!

I'm feeling good after my hysteroscopy on Tuesday. They did find a polyp so maybe that's what was causing my implantation issues? Who knows. My post OP is on Monday so I'm interested to know what my RE says about all of this.

I did almost lose it in the dentists chair yesterday. I had to have two fillings done and when I saw that big needle to numb my mouth up, I could barely hold it together. Too many procedures too close together I guess

QOTD: It was with my middle school boyfriend, I can't remember where it was so long ago!!

Thanks for this! They didn't mention that they would start without a bleed but when it gets closer and if this happens, I'll be asking!

Thanks, Rosy! It ia nice to have somewhere to talk about IF! We have four frozen embryos. They retrieved 11, 6 were mature/fertilized, and 5 made it to day 5.We did an eSET, but it actually split into ID twins the twin never even developed a fetal pole. But, we will continue to thaw/transfer one at a time. I am almost 27 and high risk anyways, so eSETs all the way!

Awesome. so you still have four, and after this, three? MAN, you are the third person I have heard of on this board recently who had ID twins develop following transfer. Did your transfer involve Assisted Hatching? I'm sort of terrified about that happening to me! I'm all about the eSET myself, too...I really don't want twins as I want to have a low risk pregnancy and birth if I get pregnant eventually. I only have three embryos left, so I'm really hoping these upcoming transfers are easy.

Suppression check yesterday that was all clear! So I start stims Sunday!!! My clinic only starts stims on Sunday so we have set days of the week for ER and ET. So by our next check in I will officially be a "stimmer"!! Yay! Never been so excited to add more needles in my life!

Qotd I was in the 6th grade at a high school football game...and it was a yucky kiss! I am surprised I didnt just give up on them from then on out!

Update: I got my giant box of meds yesterday! I was so excited I sent a picture to DH. We also went to the injections class yesterday morning. The nurse went over all the meds, how to mix them, use the Follistim pen, etc. I'm lucky that I only have one IM shot (the trigger); and it makes me feel better that DH was there and learning with me. It makes me feel like we're in this together. Next step: baseline eval next Wednesday.

QOTD: My first kiss was when I was 18, in college. So like shell3879, I was a late bloomer. Embarrassed

Suppression was today lining was a 5, ovaries no cysts. Estrogen was 135 so I have to go back on Monday for another blood draw to get cleared for a stims on Mon. If it does not drop then will have to delay a day. I haven't gotten period yet, so they think it is that sigh.....they want it below 100

Finished up my BCP last night and am to call RE with my period so I can begin estrogen I believe.

QOTD: I was in 7th grade, it was in the school yard outside and it was gross! He slobbed all over my mouth! haha Never forget that awful first kiss!

I had 2 fillings this week too. My first ever! I was so nervous about the needle too!!

I had my baseline appt. yesterday and my first IM estrogen shot last night! It didn't really hurt but it did bleed a bit. I wasn't really prepared for that. Another fun fact of IF. I am doing the estrogen every 3rd day and then back on the 7th for a lining check.

QOTD: It was with my first boyfriend in the 6th grade. Nothing really memorable though.

Hey Fireflies!!! So excited to see so many updates saying you'll be starting the next step in the next few days!!! I'm moving right along with stims. Tonight will be night 5 and I go in for my first monitoring appointment tomorrow morning. I'm still in shock that we're doing all this again! I'm just now starting to get the bloated feeling and I can feel it in my right side more than my left (my right ovary was my rock star last time too). So ready.

I am going for my luteal phase endo scratch tomorrow. And then waiting for AF to show. As soon as she does, my horse is out of the gate! Can't wait!

QOTD - I was in grade 7. However old that is. On a school bus coming home from a field trip with all my friends cheering me on. Keeping it classy.

Had vaginal cultures and an u/s yesterday (posted about it earlier). Will definitely have u/s and start micro dose Lupron on July 10th and stims on the 12. Meds get delivered tomorrow and I'm excited to go through them. How lame!

Meds mean progress so I totally get the excitement!

I think I am starting Lupron on July 9th, I just had the IVF class today and talked to the nurse while driving to work (after a huge fight w/DH b/c he made us late for class). It seems to be happening quickly at this moment. I gave them my wrong prescription insurance, it has just been a long day already.

First kiss, it was 8th grade in a movie theater. I think the movie was Christmas Vacation ; )

This is IVF #1 for me.

I'm so excited everyone's moving along! Windy I hope your day gets better! Rosie I wish I could wish AF to come for you! I have been there! I took my last bcp Tues and go in for my post op on the polyp removal tomorrow. Going to start Estrace Friday. I think. It's so strange that I'm very relaxed about this FET. I guess after being cancelled once and only having one embie on ice I'm not getting my hopes up. He thaw scares me so much!!! GL girlies!!

ETA: Like others, it was in 6th grade, I think. I thought it was pretty gross. Looks like hormones might kick in around 6th grade!

I had my saline sonogram yesterday. OBGYN did it for me. He said I was ovulating early....Great..... Everything looked good though. I start Lupron July 5th.

First kiss was 7th grade at a ball field.

If I wasn't mobile bumping I'd PIP from something about Mary...the whole we've got a bleeder. My brain is mush today and that totally made me think of it. FX that the rest of your injections are smooth sailing!
