Help: feedback on cycle length

Hi ladies - I'm really frustrated - I thought AF would be here by now. Because of my endometriosis, my OBGYN had me suppressing it with the use of the nuvaring until we were ready to develop our probe for PGD testing (therefore we stopped nuvaring in January). While on nuvaring, it caused my cycles to ALWAYS be 21 days in length, but since December I haven't been on the nuvaring, obviously...so, here are my last five cycle lengths: 

Cycle 1: February-March (30 days, was a regular cycle)
Cycle 2: March-April (29 days - this was the cycle during IVF#1) 
Cycle 3: April-May (26 days - on lupron for long lupron cycle) 
Cycle 4: May-June (24 days - immediately following IVF#2 cycle)
Cycle 5: June (32 days and counting, regular cycle, waiting to start a natural cycle FET) 
 
Am I still within "normal" cycle length at 32 days? 
 
If you had a delayed cycle following IVF, how many days longer did you have to wait for her to show? 
 
Thanks. I'm also just venting. I hate waiting.

Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    Not sure if this is what you want but after my ER in March (no ET due to OHSS), I had my period shortly (probably 26 days).  However the next month my cycle was 36 days!!!  I was so impatient!  My cycles are usually 29-30 days, so I was getting antsy.  My RE brought me in at 34 days to check things out and get my blood taken.  My progesterone was too high I think and it needed to be below a 1 for my period to start (could be wrong but that is what I remember).  Hope AF comes soon!!

    My re says 28 to34 days is considered normal. Not sure about how it relates to waiting after treatments though.
    Our Novel of TTC:

    *Male Factor (low count and low motility), High Prolactin, and Polycystic Ovaries (March 2013)
    *Recurrent Miscarriage testing also revealed high anti-phospholipids & single MTHFR mutation. (Feb 2014) 

    *IVF (07/2013): BFP-Natural Miscarriage @ 5 weeks* <3 Madison Riley <3
    *FET #1 (10/2013): BFN
    *FET #2 (12/2013)- BFP-Missed Miscarriage at 8 weeks <3 Kyle Andrew <3
    *Chromosomes and Karotyping tests were both normal.We lost a healthy baby boy :(
    *FET #3 (04/2014) was cancelled after finding Chronic Endometritis
    *Miraculous BFP July 2014!! (I was taking baby aspirin and Cabergoline to stay regulated while "taking a break from TTC" and waiting to consult with a reproductive immunologist!!!) 

    Our healthy baby girl was born 03/10/15 thanks to daily Lovenox injections and baby aspirin. There are no words for how grateful I am for our rainbow baby. <3

    When I went off the nuvaring my first 3 cycles were -108, 98, and 96 days. Then they were more "normal" at 38-40. The nuvaring really did a number on my cycles! 

     


    Me: 33 DH: 32 SA#1 low count (6mil) SA#2- now in IUI range!(30mil) Dx:MFI
    11/1- IUI#1,12/1- IUI#2, 1/2- IUI#3 all BFFN
    IVF#1. Long Lupron.ER 3/8 10R,4M,5F. ET 3/3-one 1AB, 2 frosties 5dp5dt-BFP!! Beta 3/25-794 Beta 3/27- 1794
    First u/s 4/8 saw hb. 4/22 missed mc 8w3d. d&c 4/26
    FET #1- bcp start 6/9. ET 7/12. 2 perfect blasts.5dpt-BFP!! 
    Beta 7/24 -1,239!! Beta 7/26- 2569 Beta 7/29- 7120.  U/S 8/7 hb 118! U/S 8/14 hb 143! U/S 8/20 hb 170. Graduated!! Stick baby stick!

    This is extremely helpful - thank you so much for your response as this just gives me another idea of what's "normal". Yes, this is my cycle after my IVF last month, and although I was fortunate not to develop OHSS, my estrogen was super high at trigger (6000+) so surely that had an impact on things. Thanks for the feedback...so when your period started with that 36 day cycle, you were able to proceed with an FET? I just don't want to wait another month...

    Oy, no kidding! Thanks for sharing...I hope mine comes soon and doesn't wait that long, but whatever happens, I just want to get this FET started...ugh...

    This is what I was curious about...28-34 was the range I was looking for. So I'm still somehow "normal." Yeesh. Thank you!!

    They made me get on BCP for 29 days before I started my FET cycle, to get me in line with everyone else.  My RE made it sound like it was normal and that it could have taken longer.  Good luck!!

    Interesting - does your clinic do group cycles?

    Rosy- My RE said that anything under 36 days could be considered a normal cycle. My cycles range from 26 (shortest ever) and 36 days. I've realized it all depends on when I ovulate! Did you get an ovulation kit? My LP is 16 days, so if I ovulated on day 15 I'll get period on 31, etc.
    TTC since May 2012
    Me: 32 H: 31
    DX: MFI-Very Low Count, I have Hashimotos.
    IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst
    IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
    ET delayed due to OHSS 
    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
    FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

     Yes they do.  Only 1 RE in the office and lots of patients so it makes sense to coordinate everyone.  More waiting though :(

    I'm no help, just here to commiserate... I was on BCP from Oct to Dec of last year to manage endo pain that had gotten really bad. Previously I had a textbook 28 day cycle and since stopping the pill in Dec my cycles have been crazy. I think the shortest one was 16 or 17 days, but the average is about 25 days. So, no advice but huge ((hugs)) because I know it sucks really bad to never know when to expect AF!!

    I know how frustrating that is. My IVF cycle was 49 days long (chemical), the next cycle was 40, and then the cycle after was 32 ( I usually have 29 day cycles down to the hour). I think 32 days cycle is pretty normal. Good luck to you.

    Good to know. I have no idea if I ovulated or when - I wasn't paying attention as I just expected this cycle to be somewhat normal...NOT! But either way, thanks for the feedback!
