NBR - Stupid Bathing Suit question

Okay, so I'm really ashamed that I have to ask this, but I seriously cannot figure this thing out!

I bought a tankini suit off the internet, and I absolutely love the top!  Perfect!  I'm super looking forward to wearing this bathing suit (in public even!) this long weekend at a friend's pool party!

The problem I'm having is with the bottom.  It's a pair of solid black boy shorts (which I like, so that part's fine).  Thing is: they're identical front to back (if you lay them flat, there's no obvious contoured butt section)... there are seams on the side of each leg, and up both the front and back.  There's another seam at the exact middle point of the crotch.  There's no regular crotch liner.  Half of it is lined with a strange mesh liner material, that goes from both side seams, from the waist band and stops at the seam right in the middle of the crotch.  The tag is on one of the side seams, and is pretty non-descript, in that there's no obvious brand name or front - both sides of the tag are washing info (one side is the symbols, the other side is the words)

So my question is: which way is the front?  I can't for the life of me figure it out... I've tried it in both directions, and they both feel weird, but look the same on me, so there's nothing obvious about it. Sad

Seriously, these bottoms are making me feel like a major idiot!  Yeesh! Help, please!!

    If you can't tell, nobody else can either so you won't be getting funny looks from people thinking you can't dress yourself!

    Sorry but I'm laughing at your problem! I would say if you can't tell a difference then no one else will know either!

    She said she tried them on. Now that you say it, I feel like all of my items with a side tag have it in the left and they clearly have a back and front!

    Both ways feel weird probabably because there is no specific shaped cut. So just pick a side. No one will notice.

    It sounds like it makes no difference either way so there may not be a designated front and back. Besides that I'm pretty sure I'd never be able to wear that cause my butt is way bigger than my crotch and if they were the same size on both sides my butt crack would be hanging out.
