Our beautiful pear tree

just split in half. I was such a bummer because me and my siblings grew up with that tree and a cute tire swing to go with it. Going to wait out this gnarly storm and go check and make sure there are no baby birds or squirrels stuck under it!

    Oh no! What a bummer. 

    I just noticed this morning that a giant branch broke on our mulberry tree. I think we're going to have to take it down as a result.

    Aww man! The peach tree in my dad's yard met the same fate a few weeks ago. It had to come down.

    It's not storming here at all. Weird!

    Aw, yeah, ours is going to have to come down too obviously. And usually I don't use the "pregnancy" excuse but I'm definitely going to milk it to sit out this one!

    Yeah it came out of nowhere! Right when it started to lightening like crazy I looked out back and saw two men on the top of the tower trying to get down quickly. It was so nerve wrecking to see! I don't think anyone was expecting it.

    Oh I'm so sorry. I love trees, it's always so sad when they get broken or sick and you have to take them down! It's like they're part of your family!

    Oh no! I'm so sorry! I must also say that I'm so jealous of where you live. We are in the city and I sometimes long for living in an area with open space and yards.
