How'd your appointment go?
Great heartbeat and appointment. Baby is still head down and rockin'. I need to drink more water and eat more often. Still gaining weight, but they say my urine shows signs of dehydration etc. So gotta mainline that water! Having lots of episodes throughout the day of contractions and such.
Any other important updates?
Not really. I'm just counting the days!

I am in week 38.
My appointment was eventful this week seeing as I had the nurse practitioner since my doc is out for the week on vaca. I apparently am throwing protein in my urine but no one could tell me what that meant.
No other important things. Ready to get this show on the road! 10 days to go!
I'm in week 36.
My appointment went well! Baby's heartbeat was at it's normal 140s range and he is definitely head down and positioned correctly (palpating him is now uncomfy verging on slightly painful). Took my GBS test so I'll know the results at next week's appointment. Only a few weeks left for a 40-week baby! I'm pretty excited.
Midwife doesn't think I'll make it past two more weeks but baby will come when he comes and I'm hoping he at least holds off until after the 10th so all my birth prep classes will be over and done with or until after the 13th so all my prenatal classes are over!

Week 38.
Have an appointment tomorrow, hopefully there will be some progress but I am doubtful. My birthday is next Tuesday and my wish is that the baby has been born already and I am home for the hospital lol. It's crazy, it feels like yesterday I found out I was pregnant and then Sandy hit...can't believe I am at the end, even though I am impatient now.
Had my weekly NST and AFI check on Monday due to risk factors. LO's heart is looking strong and amniotic fluid levels are within normal ranges, all good news. My routine prenatal appt is tomorrow.
I keep having regular, timeable contractions for hours at a time that fizzle out. It's a bit of a mindfluck but since I started mat leave this week it doesn't bother me as much. Plus I do know they're helping my cervix ripen and progress so at least there's that. Just hanging out and waiting!

How'd your appointment go? Short and sweet, everything holding steady. Still head down, no internals yet.
Any other important updates? Nothing important. I'm fine to keep my little guy cooking until his EDD. Thinking about having him as an outside baby makes me nervous!
What week are you in? I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow
How'd your appointment go? Had my 36 week appt. last Thurs. that included Group B strep test, but probably won't get the results of that until my appt. this Fri. Otherwise great heartbeat, my BP is good and baby is still head down. My fundal height did jump from being right on track to measuring 1.5 weeks ahead. Doc said it could just be the position of the baby that week or I may be on track to deliver a slightly larger baby like I did with DD. Either way she wasn't concerned.
Any other important updates? Not really. I'm just counting the days!

How'd your appointment go? Which one! I feel like I am always there at this point. My second appointment this week they mentioned that my blood pressure continues to rise and swelling is becoming more significant. I am having to return on Friday for a third appointment this week for monitoring. The baby also played "Hide my heartbeat" from the doctor...even though he was kicking and rolling around in there, she couldn't get his heartbeat. Silly kid.
Any other important updates? Still in pre/early labor with no signs of progression yet. Lots and lots of contractions, back pain, leaking off and on, etc. Just praying he comes out before they start telling me there are more problems. Trying out LivvyK's spicy food method tonight by fixing dinner with chili peppers and jalapenos! Come on baby!!!!!

How'd your appointment go? Good, dilated 2 cm and 90 percent effaced. Been experiencing inconsistent pain/contractions since so I think I am definitely on my way!
Any other important updates?
Just that I hope she comes within the next couple days. This sounds mean but I really don't want to share my birthday (June 30)

How'd your appointment go?
I was slightly dilated/effaced last week and was disappointed there was no progress. Also found out that my GBS test was positive. Not a big deal but I never take any meds, especially antibiotics, unless I really have to, so this was disappointing. If my water breaks I have to go to the hospital immediately for the first round of antibiotics and then be there for early labor instead of home. Oh well.
He's also between 6.5 and 7 lbs, so they won't let me go much past 40 weeks, which I'm okay with, but we're looking at an 8 lb baby if he bakes that long.
Any other important updates?
Scheduled an induction focused massage for next week. Lets hope my body and baby are interested and it helps move us along!
I'm 35 1/2 weeks
I started having a weekly appts with u/s a few weeks ago. Some of it is precautionary due to my age, but also baby boy can't decide what position to be in. He's been alternating between breech and head down...this last appt he was breech again. Good news is everything else has been looking great, my BP has been low, amniotic fluid and placenta look good and baby is very active.
Next Monday we'll check position again, if he's still breech we'll try an external cephalic version at 37 weeks since I went into spontaneous labor w/ my DD at 38w2d.

Appointment went well. Everything is normal and on track. Heartbeat is good, baby is squirmy.
He is still breech and c section is scheduled for July 9. They said they'd do an ultrasound next week to check his position but I figure, What's the point? I can tell if he's moved. His head's been in the exact same spot for over a month. And if he does move next week, that doesn't mean he won't move back. I'd rather save the money. They put it on the schedule anyway, but I'm planning to opt out.

How'd your appointment go? I had an unplanned appointment this morning. I called last night because I was starting to get really concerned about my swelling and pitted edema. I have had a couple high BP reading in the past and wanted to make sure everything was fine. I went in and my BP was slightly high, my urine was normal, and my doc didn't seem too concerned about the swelling.
Any other important updates? Next appointment is Monday unless LO decides to come this weekend!

36 Weeks - whohoo! Honestly, I never thought I'd get this far after reading so much about having twins early.
How'd your appointment go?
At my last appointment on Friday, my doctor set an induction date for this coming Tuesday, 7/2. Here's hoping I make it that far! I have my last appt. before the induction this Friday to make sure both babies are still head down and my blood pressure has remained stable.
Any other important updates?
Last day of work is this Friday - too bad I can't celebrate with a margarita happy hour. Maybe I'll substitute for mocktails.

How'd your appointment go?
Good! We heart the heartbeat, like always its good! Kyren is head down. I am 1 cm dilated. He says I should go a week before my EDD. I weigh 153, which is what I weighed with DD when I went to be induced two days after my EDD with her. Plus, we picked the night of the 20th to go be induced.
Any other important updates?
Just the induction being set.
That doesn't sound mean to me. I don't want the baby born on the 2nd because it's our wedding anniversary. I know I have NO control over that though!

What week are you in? I'm 37w as of yesterday
How'd your appointment go? I had my weekly appointment yesterday and DH and DS joined me. DS got to help measure my belly and the midwife let him listen to his own heartbeat after listening to the baby's. I also found out I'm negative for GBS and my iron/platelet count was good.
Any other important updates? My work FINALLY found someone to cover my absence. I was getting slightly worried but she starts on Monday for training...after a few days of that I feel like I am ready to go anytime.

How'd your appointment go? - My 37 week appt is tomorrow at my 36 week I was not checked but had Strep B test, I was surprised the doctor had me swab myself. Heartbeat was great but he wouldn't sit still for her so I almost got an ultrasound but she found him. I had sugar (LOTS) in my urine so my DH has become the sugar and carb nazi
Any other important updates? - Sunday I went to L&D for a really bad headache that didn't stop even with Tylenol. They checked everything and was fine but gave me something for headache. I have had contractions for last few weeks but last 2 days they have come daily and at regular intervals, they just stop after hour or 2.

How'd your appointment go? Good! Pretty uneventful. She did my GBS swab, but I won't get the results until next week when I'm in. She did check my cervix and I'm starting to efface, but no real progress, which is fine at this stage. Baby's heartbeat was a little high but still normal.
Any other important updates? I don't think so!
I will be 36 weeks this Saturday. My last appointment went great. The baby is still head down, my blood pressure was low but good. Heartbeat was strong. I am excited for my appointment on Tuesday because I get checked. My MW thinks I will have some sort of cervical changes because the baby has been head down for so long now. After this I go every week!!

How'd your appointment go? I had one this morning, everything is normal, he's head down butt up and legs all kicked out taking up all the room he can lol. My practice has an on site massage therapist and they give you a free hour massage for being a patient there so I enjoyed that after my appointment. Amazing!
Any other important updates? Not really..just ready to meet LO!

RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

How'd your appointment go? Last appointment was yesterday and urine, BP and heart rate all checked out normal. LO kept playing hide and seek with the doppler. Declined cervical check.
Any other important updates? Nope - still having sporadic contractions and praying for a delivery before Monday, and my new insurance with a whole brand-spanking-new deductible kicks in.

How'd your appointment go? Good. I am 3cm and 80% effaced. Now, I know it doesn't predict anything but it's still exciting to know that I'm making progress!
Any other important updates? I'm not feeling any contractions yet...

2. I actually had my 38 week appointment yesterday and she won't strip my membranes until my appointment next week. I know it probably wont even work, but it still annoys me!! Baby looked great though

How'd your appointment go? Everything is looking good - good BP, no protein in urine, strong heartbeat. Only thing of note is my swollen feet/ankles but as everything else checks out they're not worried
Any other important updates? Nope! I literally haven't had any BHs, no leaking, no bleeding....I almost wish I was starting to get some sign this baby is coming soon!

Had my weekly appointment on Monday. Everything looked good - BP, weight gain, fundal height right on track (I am a boring patient). I am a fingertip dilated and I think a good deal effaced (she said it was pretty thin). Baby girl is also way, way down.
My doula gets back in town tonight, so anytime after that I am ready for her to make an appearance! Off to get a mani/pedi now, just in case...

How'd your appointment go? Appt Monday went well. Cervix still closed. Good heartbeat. I'm starting to swell and have been bloated and gassy, so my weight went up quite a bit. I'm trying to lay off the salt.
Any other important updates? Nope, baby boy just moving like crazy that I'm sure he's trying to bust out! Lol. My mom is coming next week so we'll see what happens

36w1d today.
My 36w appt yesterday went amazing!! I never made it this far with DD so I feel like every day is a huge gift. They brought me into the same exam room where I found out things were hitting the fan last time so I was initially freaking out, but the nurse told me right off the bat I had no protein in my urine, so I felt better. BP was fine, too, so hooray!!
I am a huge wuss and didn't want to get any kind of internal check yesterday. I've never had one but have been scared off by everything I've read about how painful they are. Thankfully, my MDs don't do them until week 38 or so unless they have a reason to. Now, I'm just taking it one day at a time! Oh, and being team green is KILLING me!! I am actually closer to caving now than I have ever been!
That's not mean! My bday is the 2nd and I really don't want either LO or I to share our birthdays. I'm a bit of a "birthday princess" and I intend to treat my daughter the same way! Haha!
What week are you in? 38th
How'd your appointment go? We had an ultrasound to see if LO has grown since our last sono and she has. She is now estimating at 6 lbs. 11 oz. They also checked my fluid levels and they are lower then my OB would like. Due to the low fluid levels she scheduled us for an induction on monday, which would only be 4 days before our EDD.
Any other important updates? My OB's office called me this morning. She said that after reviewing the sono and my fluid levels she would be more comfortable doing another sono before the weekend, that is scheduled for tomorrow. If my fluid levels have dropped any they will admit me tomorrow and start the induction early friday morning. I am getting pretty nervous. Being told that we would be induced on monday was shocking enough, I was just getting used to that. It is amazing though to know that LO will be in my arms very soon.
