I sing to her and dance with or for her and we play with her toys, but that's about it. I recently started showing her toys and pointing out the color and she seems interested, but I'm sure she has no idea what I'm saying. Are you teaching your LO anything this point? What fun things do you do with LO? Anything sensory related? Looking for more ideas.
Re: What do you do for fun with LO?
Edit: oh and we play music, dance and try to expose her to nature. I wish I was better at reading to her.. she's just usually too tired in the evenings to care about it. Boo.
I talk to him quite a bit and tell him what I'm doing. I'll sing and dance or make funny faces to make him laugh. I hold him so he can stand up and bounce, turn him upside down, pick him up with my legs, or turn him into Superbaby and fly him around the house. We pet the kitty and dog.
I'll lay a blanket down with a bunch of toys and we will sit and play with them. We read a book almost every day, usually at bed time. He also likes to play independently in his crib or in his swing. He will sit in his high chair and play with toys or eat a snack and watch me while I work in the kitchen. I usually have music playing.
I really only get a full day with him on the weekends, and DH is home with DS all day. They go to the zoo, Target, on walks, out to brunch with grandma, and stuff like that.
I get a weekly email with age appropriate activities to do every week. I forgot my phone at home today, so I can't check my email, but I'll see if I can look up the website later. It sometimes has some good ideas.
I sing to LO (real songs and made up silly songs), read books

I have found a few short videos on YouTube. H doesn't like it too much so the ten minute videos are great for us.
All of the above.
Plus, we also take swim class twice a week and have recently started Gymboree. V LOVES to leave the house, so I'm always trying to find mommy and me classes for her.
ETA: If you have a Gymboree near you, you can take a trial class for free.
