Scared (T&P)

I had some bleeding yesterday. At first I thought it was just bloody show, but there was no mucus and there was a lot more blood than I thought there should be. I called my MW (don't know why I didn't think to come ask J13 what they thought...).

The bleeding stopped an hour before I went in to the MW, and they gave me an exam and couldn't see any other bleeding. They gave me a NST, which looked good. I had one contraction at the end of the monitoring period, and the MW thought everything looked ok. She said the bleeding could be normal if I dilated a lot instead of a little when losing my plug. She said it could also be a small placental abruption - enough to cause bleeding, but not so much to be disruptive to the baby.

About 1.5 hours after leaving, she called me back. She ran my NST by one of the other MWs for a second look, and the other MW was concerned that the the baby didn't recover her HB as quickly as she would have liked after that big contraction. They recommended I get an U/S (which is happening in a couple hours) just to check on the placenta and make sure all is ok there.

So last night, we got our bags packed and some baby laundry done, not having any clue what would happen. I've had some cramping (which I was told is normal) but LO hasn't been as active as in the past few days. Lately, she felt as if she never stopped moving, and I could watch my stomach roll as she moved around. Kick counts are still in the range of normal though, so I'm hoping all is well and I'm just being a Nervous Nellie.

Of course, my parents are OOT at the moment, and they're the ones that are going to watch DS while we're in the hospital. They can come back to town (they're a 4 hour drive away) if anything happens, but I don't want to cut their trip short for nothing - especially as they're with my brother who just had a baby. I'm 35W tomorrow... If you have any good juju to throw my way I'd really appreciate it.

I would be scared too...but it's great that you have so much movement and the MW's are bouncing thoughts off each other is good.
