Vacation ideas with a 20 month old

Hi...thinking of going away with our 20 month old and friends with a 3 year old. It seems like most places that would be suitable for the 3year old are still too old for our DS.  I feel like the only places I'm coming up with are beach resorts. Amusement parks are out as little one isn't tall enough for anything. Disney wouldn't be a good fit for several reasons. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I have no idea the area you are looking to visit but you could try a children's museum. My 18 month old and 3 year old love going to them. I don't know why Disney is automatically out but both my kids love their parks as well! A zoo would be another option.
