Can i introduce water at 7 months?

    Yes! I asked my sons pediatrician this and she gave us the go ahead after 6 months.

    I don't see why not?  We started around 6.5 months, though it took >2 wks before DS figured out how to drink from the sippy.  Now we offer water multiple times a day (mostly b/c it's hot here), but he only drinks a total of 2oz a day.

    What kind of sippy cup? I used born free trainers with my older two around 6 months for water... but now they don't have the soft spouts, only hard spouted drinking cups.  Did you use hard spout sippy cups at 6 months or soft spout?  If soft spout, can you recommend brand please? TIA

    Ours is a hard spout.  It's the OXO one, and it says 6m+.

    Ours is a hard spout.  It's the OXO one, and it says 6m+. 

      Thank you, will try the hard spout. Probably better for his gums too, while he is teething now.
