I saw your post in the randoms. We got black out curtains for Jayson's room, and he now usually sleeps until 9am. 7:30pm to 9am. I can't make you any promises, but it worked really well for us.

  • I am more than willing to try. Mina's sleeping has gotten worse since we moved. My sister swore by black out curtains with her daughter. I think I'll go out and pick some up today.

  • Also hijacking!  We have tinfoil on the windows AND blackout curtains.  It is pitch dark in that room and she is a phenomenal sleeper.   If she can see ANYTHING, she is up, so she really needs the dark.

(Yes, the tinfoil is ghetto, but her room faces a tiny side yard and the garage, so nobody sees it from outside except my husband when he mows the lawn.)

  • Liam's room has one of those half moon windows above the other main window.  I wish I could get a black out curtain for that thing!  Just saw the foil comment... now I'm wondering..  :)

I shouldn't complain because Liam sleeps till 7-7:30 and does great for naps, but at least for mornings, if I could get just 1 more hour!!  I am a late nighter.  I just cannot go to bed before 12.
