its getting harder an harder for my lo to go down for his morning nap......yet 6am to noon seems like a rally long time for him to stay awake...... Any advice? I. Was thinking of just pushing his morning nap back to 10 or 1030 and then lunch, play, and then his pm nap would be like 230??? Each nap being about an hour or so....does anyone have experience with this yet or think i should just omit the morning nap and then have his pm nap at noon right after lunch?..

Re: Naps
I don't know how old your DS is but DD naps pretty early at 11:30/11:45 for her one nap. She's up around 6 (or earlier) and goes to bed at 7pm. She's been on this schedule since she dropped to one nap around 15 months. She has lunch at 11 and usually sleeps 2hrs.
ETA: before we made the transition to one nap she was taking her am nap around 10 and her afternoon nap around 2:30. Once the pm nap started getting too late I slowly moved back the am nap.
Yup, we just dropped down to one nap shortly before a year. Although my DS was fighting the afternoon nap. He usually goes down sometime between 11-12 and sleeps 1 1/2-2 hours. I try to get lunch in first, but if we are out running errands and they take longer than I expected, he falls asleep in the car.
I still think sometimes that 1 pm to 8 pm is a long time, but he seems the happiest, and goes down great for bed since we have gone down to one nap.
GL!
I agree with PPs that maybe it's time to go to one nap a day.
I follow DD's lead, and she just started staying up later in the morning and only taking one nap around the time she turned 1. Other than dozing off in the car here and there, I can't really remember the last time she took two real naps in a day. Her one nap now is usually around 1:00 - 4:00 in the afternoon, sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later, but always for 2-3 hours. She wakes up around 7 am and goes to bed around 8 pm.
it looks like your LO is transitioning and would be ok with just 1 nap. Try going the 6 hours, if anything he will be exhausted and that 1 nap will be a bit longer.
My DD has 1 nap that's anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours.
