WDYT? 6 month pics

DS's 6 month pics will be in the next couple weeks. I bought him a fedora and tie to wear in one of them, with the intention to go naked. But do you think I should do completely naked, just a diaper, or get a matching crocheted diaper cover? Or scrap the naked idea and go for clothes?

I just did DS's 9 month pics and bought a bright blue cloth diaper for the "more naked" pics of him. I didn't want full blown naked pics, even edited. I posted a picture in the parenting board of the sneak peek pic. You can tell he's wearing a blue cloth diaper but still without other clothes and it worked out perfect.

I say clothes for sure, but I would not be down with the whole fedora and tie thing, so my opinion probably isn't what you are looking for

I would do clothes. I think by 9 months the naked photo thing has lost some of its cuteness and appropriateness.

I've seen tons of pics where the baby is sitting down and it's just naturally blocked. Not from straight on, but the side.

You do realize that a 6 month old baby wiener is tiny and not something that's going to need to be taped back. Just saying.

I was kidding Hav. LOL My point was that they move around, there is bound to be a junk shot at some point.

I see nothing at all wrong with diaper pics. No genitalia will be seen if baby is wearing a diaper and has the hat/tie on. I think that's adorable.

At my Ds2's one year photos we did a cake smash. Ds2 is in a diaper with a diaper cover over it, smashing his cake. Nothing inappropriate there.

I also know, from a friend who worked at one, that most photo studios won't do photos completely naked after 6mo (like the poses of babies on their tummy, etc).
