Your Best Tip for Surviving the Last Few Weeks

I'm 37 wks today and my OBs will not induce prior to 39 wks unless medically necessary. Although one of the four docs in the practice might do it at 38 if I beg, I just have a feeling these boys are in it for the long haul.

So let us hear it, what is the best tip you have for surviving the last few weeks of a multiples pregnancy? You remember - those weeks where you can't sleep because it hurts, ribs are permantly pushed aside and little baby feet are stabbing you, your lung capacity is almost non-existence and you end up out of breath just walking upstairs.  Remember those days?  What helps?

  • Lots of baths! Also, spend time finding the perfect propped up position with pillows where you can breathe, and stay there as long as possible. Tons of water and bad TV. Last minute nesting. You can do it!!!

  • Just don't expect anything from yourself. Grow those babies, and that's it. You can worry about the rest later. DH took time off work and stayed home to take care of DS and me. I lai on th couch. GL!

  • I am with you.  I laughed because I posted a similar post and then saw this.  So tired of being so uncomfortable.  But we got this.

I don't sleep much, my ribs hurt to the point I walk hunchback to not stretch them, can't breathe, swollen feet, the center of my belly is numb, and more.

     So... we wait.

     Hang in there girl!
