XP: hospital bed rest and gifts for nurses

I'm going to xp this on the high risk board, but thought I would ask here too. I've been on hospital bed rest since last Wednesday and wanted to bring in little something for the nurses that have been so great. Dh is bringing donuts and coffee from dunkin tomorrow, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

    fresh flowers and bakery goods are great also a card to each nurse that says thank you

    As long as its not home baked goods uncovered or only to a specific person. Nurses are usually not allowed to take individual gifts and most home baked goods get thrown out for safety measures. However any preerapped food items or things like donuts or pizza they can accept. Heck just a heart felt thank you is extremely appreciated. Goodluck on your bed rest.

    Candy:)  All kinds, not just chocolate.  I'd do an assortment with sweedish fish, sweet tarts, nerds, chocolate, maybe throw in some fresh fruit (I only say that b/c I'm eating an apple at the moment, lol) starbursts, twizzlers, etc.

    Yum, I want some candy.

    I like the candy idea. Do they have a coffee machine on their floor? You could buy them a quality thing of coffee. Our coffee sucks at work, but every once in a while, somebody will bring in good stuff, and it really makes my day.
