January 2015 PAL- Advice
Married October 2009. Me 29 H 28.
After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
I've got a combinations of things I try, nothing cures it, but eventually something will help.
I take b6 (my ob recommended 50 mg 3x a day) with my last b6 i take a unisom and go to bed (apparently they work together to fight it).
I use seabands off and on.
I keep preggoe pop drops in my pocket and need about 2-3 a day.
I try to snack even if I don't feel hungry every hour.
I don't drink plain water (mix it with a spoonful of lemonade mix or juice), and never too much liquid on an empty stomach.
Zofran made me super sleepy and gave me a headache, but everyone reacts differently to it. It was worth trying for me even though it just brought other issues.
Hope that helps!

Things that have worked:
B6, carnation instant breakfast, chewing ice, only eating exactly what you think you can handle at that moment I bring huge lunches that are all basically snack items crackers/cheese/granola/yougurt/etc and hope that something sounds appealing, nuts, unsweetened decaf ice tea.
Mostly I find something that helps and stick with that for a week I've been sipping decaf tea like its going out of style or so then it inevitably makes me sick and I move on to the next thing.

Ice cold water with lemon and lime slices.
Eating fruit and string cheese immediately after waking up.
Not really groggy. Sometimes I get a headache with it. But I am prone to headaches
Regular water was making me sick too so I started adding frozen pineapple tidbits or other frozen fruit (blueberries are good too). It helped flavor the water but not over do it.
I found I feel the most sick if I'm dehydrated. I like cranberry juice with water too. And LOTS of ice in all my drinks. The coldness helps.
I also do small frequent meals.

If you haven't tried the B6/unisom combo, I'd highly suggest starting there. I defintely notice i feel better the days after I take it.
I'm also on zofran, using seabands, trying to keep something in my stomach but not huge meals, eating ice and popcicles (dehydration makes it worse), epsom salt baths, keep gum handy.
I've noticed several ladies have also commented elsewhere that they need to avoid dairy and citrus
For me the key has been keeping my blood sugar steady. I try to eat something at least every 2 hours and make sure all my snacks have some protein. All the carb remedies people suggest (sour candy, ginger ale, saltines, etc.) help for a minute but then I always end up feeling worse when my blood sugar crashes a few minutes later.
Some of my go-to snacks have been: apples with peanut butter, salted nuts, greek yogurt, canned peaches with cottage cheese, cubes of cheese with crackers, and potato chips with plain greek yogurt dip.

Jolly ranchers seem to help with the nausea, but in a pinch other hard candy has helped some.
I already fight to keep my blood sugar even, and it's much more sensitive now. So eating every couple hours really helps me, which is hard because food seems so gross. But a missed snack sends me into a nasty spiral of nausea and exhaustion.
Good luck!
