I wore this to my family shower. (We had to have two showers because most of my family lives in another state.) I know it says it's a swim suit cover, but it wasn't see through and it was super comfy. I paired it with a teal and pink braided belt.
I feel like you can't go wrong with a maxi dress. Remember you will probably be sitting in front of a bunch of people opening gifts, I didn't want to worry about flashing them all if I had a short dress on. I have several plain maxis that I dress up and down with different belts and jewelry for most events I go to. So comfy!
This, exactly. My poor sis wore a really cute shorter dress and many of the guests ending up sitting on the floor and I felt like she had to be extra careful not to show anything!
I have been experiencing a lot of swelling in my feet and ankles so, to cover that, I am wearing a maxi skirt with a sleeveless v-neck blouse that has a bow belt.

I wore this (sorry, don't know how to do clicky on ipad). You can't really tell in the picture, but it has small gold polka dots. Very cute. But the maxi dress is a good idea, one I never thought about. I had to keep my legs clamped the whole time I opened gifts for fear of flashing anyone. LOL!
I just wore a nice pair of maternity jeans and a sweater I wore once to a job interview...mostly I wore something that fit! I don't have a picture but it looked nice I'm not much of a dress person personally
I haven't had my shower yet, but I plan on wearing a sundress or maxi dress, although I haven't decided which one yet. I have a few options already, but it will depend on how much my bump grows between now and then. Comfort and ability to sit without flashing my lady bits is top priority.
Re: what to wear....
I am wearing this dress to my 1st baby shower this weekend:

And I wore this to the 2nd one with a black belt with cute accessories.

Just be sure to dress comfy!! I know you'll want to be cute, just like I did- but I was amazed at how exhausted I ended up by the end of it!
