TRIGGER AND IUI!!

I am new here but I was wondering if anyone can let me know how their experience has been with a HCG shot and IUI. This will be my 1st IUI i had an U/S on cd 13 with 2 follies one 9mm and one 5mm. I went back on Tuesday which was cd 17 for a 2nd U/S and had my follies at 16.8mm and 11mm.My RE told me I can do the IUI on Saturday 6/22/13 and i have to trigger tonight!! I am nervous because I have never gotten this far on treatment. This is my 3rd round of clomid the 1st round I did ovulate but got a BFN and the second round i had to stop due to non growth!! Maybe 3rd times a charm???

Now he?s 12 years old TTC since 2003 Diagnosed with PCOS 2004 TTC on our own no luck Seen RE in 2012 Clomid and HCG Trigger #1 100mg= O?d Baby danced BFN Clomid#2 150mg= stopped due to non growth Clomid #3 200mg= got 2 follies!!!! CD 13 9mm and 5mm CD 17 both follies grew 11mm and 16.8mm CD 19 Time to HCG Trigger Scheduled IUI CD 21 fingers crossed!!!!

Welcome! I've had 4 IUIs (as of this morning) and always used HCG trigger. You should ovulate 24-36 hours after the injection. Follicles grow about 2mm per day, so that 16.8 should be in the 20s which is a perfectly ripe egg, and that 11 may perk up, too! IUIs are simple and painless - take as much time as a pap smear. Fx for your third time charm!
