Anyone else

Go to bed with lo in their own bed or RNP or whatever and wake up with them in yours? I know I need to start some kind of sleep training with her because bed time is so rough.. But I just keep putting it off'

Re: Anyone else

  • Yes! Only because she wakes up to eat in the night. She's on a medication for her hemangioma so I don't want to stop night feedings (doc said she needs to eat during the night) so it'll be awhile for us. Good luck!

she wakes up to nurse and its so much easier in bed. I'm in no rush but idk what I would even do to begin.. I've always nursed her to sleep!

  • We started with naps. I haven't read any sleep training books or anything but I just put her in a dark room in her pack and play. Left her in there 30 mins tops and if she didn't put herself to sleep then she would stay up and I wouldn't try and rock her or anything.  That sort of helped with bed time. The first night she slept in her pack and play for 13 hours and woke up once to eat. This was last Saturday.

  • Yes she did. She fussed a bit. If she is really crying I get her. Today she only fussed for about 5 minutes or so and she's out now.  FWIW, it only took a few days before she understood it was nap time.

  • My LO was in his bed for about a week (see UO Thursday post).

I am the one that puts him in our bed but it's usually after DH is gone and it's 6am and I want another hour or so of sleep. LO goes right back to sleep. Thank goodness but I really want him in his own room and over that hump. And DH wants to not have to keep quiet while doing the DTD.. I agree with DH as I like my a$$ smacked and hair pulled (TMI!!-Sorry)

I love you. This is amazing. DD sleeps in our room still, but sometimes, we move her to the living room for those sort of nights. Wink
