Home made pured: broccoli w/ kiwi, sweet potato w/ peaches, carrots w/ cheese and pasta, chicken and cauliflower. Coconut milk yogurt with mango. Mandarin orange slices, small bites of cubed cheese, carrots. Scrambled eggs. Pulled pork no sauce.
We do BLW and he eats what we eat mostly. Toast, meat, veggies, fruit, and gerber puffs.
Hi, newish on this board. When did you start BLW? LO is almost 7 months and only had breastmilk and formula. We tried rice cereal around 5 months, he hated it, spit it out, drooled it out, but did not eat it. We tried stage 1 purees around a few weeks ago and he did the same thing. Also mashed avocado & banana and same reaction. Hid ped dr says he needs to start eating solids and to keep trying or do BLW but I'm not sure how/what to start with. My older guys both started on rice cereal and purees around 4-6 months with no problems and were eating 3 meals a day including yogurt & oatmeal, so this is odd to me.
Brown rice cereal, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, squash, peas, green beans, avocado, peach, pear, apple, plum. I can't think of anything else at the moment. We make our own food and so far no problems, but I am looking to start meat soon, just left a message with pedi.

We offer whatever we're eating that's safe. Today she had banana, applesauce, cod, strips of red pepper and peach. Yesterday she had bread crust, mango, strips of steak, strips of baked potato and broccoli. She usually gets fruit if I'm eating something I don't want her to have, just because its easy to prepare rather than cooking 2 meals. Like I ate a sausage for lunch and gave her a banana piece.
We started BLW almost a month ago. She basically eats what we're eating - but has really only started to swallow food in the last week or so (and I think she's only eating MAYBE a tablespoon per day). Tonight we had baked chicken and sweet potatoes. She also loves baked ziti with spicy italian sausage pieces. Like PP said, if I don't want her eating what we're eating (i.e., we have a frozen pizza or something "bad"), I'll just give her some fruit because it takes 2 seconds to prepare.
Since you're looking for ideas, though... some of her favorites include: whole wheat pasta, cucumbers, oranges, apples, sweet potatoes, whole grain crackers, pineapple, and chunks of hamburger/chicken.
We are kind of doing BLW because DS has been refusing spoon-feeding for the past 3 wks or so. We started giving him strips of food to self-feed then, and I guess he loves the independence of that so now he whines and complains when I go near him w/a spoon.
For b'fast, it's strips of fruit. DS loves mangoes and peaches. He'll also eat kiwi, strawberries, pineapple, pear. On weekends, he'll get homemade pancakes or french toast or muffin.
Lunch he'll get bread with cheese. I usually can get him to take a few spoonfuls of oatmeal mixed with yogurt and fruit.
Dinner is usually what we eat. DS loves whole wheat pasta (rotini, spaghetti) with pesto. I also give him strips of chicken or pork, ground meat, firm tofu. Vegetable-wise, his favorites are roasted sweet potato wedges and butternut squash. But he'll also eat greens if I put a pile in front of him.
This evening I made a curried lentil & spinach stew. And pan-fried flounder. I gave him a pile of the stew, plus couple pieces of the flounder. He ate quite a bit of everything.
The only downside of BLW is that it's really messy...

Re: Food suggestions please
Are you doing purees or baby led weaning?
