Oh no! I also saw dd throw a leg up the other day and I was all "ohhhhh no no no no. Only mommy and daddy get you out of the crib." Fingers crossed it sticks.
I am so very sorry. DD is doing the one leg over the rail, is that a sign?
That's how he did it! I had no warning, he's not a climber or anything.
Mine started putting a leg up on the rail a few weeks ago. And yesterday he surprised me by walking into the room during nap time saying "hi!"
Could have knocked me over with a feather. I knew he was probably capable of doing it for a long time...just didn't think he actually WOULD.
last night was first night in his twin bed. It was tough to get him to stay at first, but he slept all night and now I am just waiting for him to open up his door and say "good morning!!!"

Unfortunately it was not a fluke. As soon as I put him back down he climbed right out.
Last night was rough, but he was in a bad mood before bedtime so hopefully that was a fluke.
I really thought we wouldn't have to deal with this lol.

Yikes! We are also at the "one leg over". sigh I guess we.need.to put them in a big kid bed at some point, right?
I hope Jason's crib diving experience traumatized him enough that he won't attempt it again for a loooong time.
