I guess I never really associated the name Jackson as a city name until you just mentioned it.
City names aren't really my style but maybe there are others like me who don't consider Jackson a "city name."
We have a Kennedy, and we won't use Madison, Reagan, Taylor, etc.
You could, of course, but I personally wouldn't.
