Recent BFP'ers, do come in...

Hello ladies! I was just curious, how soon after xdpxdt did you poas/frer? Did you have/feel any symptoms? I need something to reference before I decide when it would be "safe" to do one myself, being that we transferred two beautiful embies last week. Thanks :-)
On 10/23/13 Baby Sophie and Baby Gabriel born at 21+5 weeks. They grew wings and flew away from us. May God bless them always. We love you beans!

    I tested 5dp5dt and got a negative, the next day 6dp5dt I tested and got a very faint positive which continued to darken daily. Best wishes to you!!!

    My advice, 5 days post transfer can still be way early. I caused myself so much stress over that negative that day thinking it was a bust. Hold off 2 to 3 more days if you can! And I had zero symptoms and still don't and I'm 10 weeks going strong. Good luck!

    I tested starting at 6dp5dt. I got a pretty light positive. Then it got darker each day. It was super dark by 8dp. As for symptoms, the main ones at the time were sore boobs and feeling hungry nonstop. GL hun!!

    I didn't test until the day before beta which was 10dp3dt. I wanted as close to an accurate answer as possible and didn't want to worry if it was too early if it was a negative.
    Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 
    Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  
    Clomid + Trigger x2; 
    IUI + Femara x1,
    IUI + Follistim x2;
    IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.
    IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 
    Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

    Waited until 6dp5dt, light, but not a squinter. Transferred one frozen blast. 

    I hoped to wait until 7dp5dt, but bought the tests the night before and couldn't wait.

    DH:39 lower than average count.
    Married 2006. 3 failed IUIs and countless BFNs.
    ~IVF#1: July 2012~
    7/10 Retrieval: 16r, 14f w/ICSI. 7/15 ET: Transfered 2. 4 frosties.< Poas faint+ 4dp5dt.>
    Beta#1 (8dp5dt): 138. Beta#2 (10dp5dt): 355.
    u/s#1: (19dp5dt) 8/3/12 one sac, two yolks! Beta 8,000
    u/s#2: two strong heartbeats! EDD 4/2/12
    Boy/girl fraternal mono/di twins-- lost our sweet baby girl at 22 weeks due to SIUGR
    Preterm labor at 23 weeks 4 days, lost our sweet baby boy.

    I tested at 9dp3dt and got a light but definitely clear positive. I had no symptoms at that time, I was just too anxious to wait for my beta! I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I still have barely any symptoms. My boobs are bigger and a little sore, I have some shortness of breath when I do anything active, and I am more tired than normal. I also am noticing some sensitivity to strong smells and flavors, but no puking yet!
    TTC since June, 2011 with anovulatory PCOS, 1 blocked tube, and mild MFI
    3rd cycles clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
    4th cycles letrozole/Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 = BFP! Twins due 2/5/2014

    I first tested at 7dp5dt on a Wondfo and got a positive. Tested the next day on a FRER and also got a positive. I've continued to test daily as I approach beta (which is today)! As far as symptoms go....sore boobs especially around the nipple area, AF like cramping, moodiness, hot flashes, increased hunger, slightly more tired. 

    I would say waiting a few more days until you test. But remember that even if you get a negative, it's not over until beta says so! GL!!!

    Very strong positive at 7dp5dt. I had very sore breasts but PIO also causes that. Good luck!!

    I am a poas addict.  I bought wondfos in an increment of 50 for cheap on amazon so I figured why not test early.   I started testing on 3dp6dt since I got a faint faint positive the night of 4dp5dt and this time, the embryo is a day older.  I was fully prepared for a negative, you kinda have-to-be that early anyways.  I am pretty good at convincing myself it is too early so it didn't hurt me to test and get a negative in the beginning. It was negative throughout the day and then by the evening, there was a faint faint squinter of a positive.  It was  little darker but still a squinter on the morning of 4dp6dt.  I bought a bunch of FRERs and figured I would try it.  I got a faint positive, not with FMU.  I tried a digi, yesterday 6dp6dt and it said pregnant.  For some reason, the FMU is usually fainter so I find if I pee in the morning and minimally drink anything, then pee a few hours later, it was darker.  GL!  If it's negative, don't give up.  You aren't out until the beta.

    Married June 2011 Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
    April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary ; referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
    cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
    cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
    cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)
    Repeat MRI July 25,2012- Cyst unchanged, likely old infarction.
    Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
    Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
    Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
    Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
    IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
    IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 told to stop meds and let nature take its course. requested 4th beta (3/6); Beta hell for 2 months.

    FET # 2: endometrial scratch 5/6, added estrace vaginally and ASA to delestrogen and PIO. June 10- transferred one 4AA hatched embryo, BFP 4dp6dt, Beta 1 (9dp6dt) 187, Beta 2 (11dp6dt): 412; Beta 3 (15dp6dt ): 4452. U/S #1- one beautiful embryo with a heartbeat of 133 at 7 weeks.  8 weeks: heartbeat 156. EDD 2/26/2014: born 2-3-14 induced due to Pre-E and HELLP at 36w5d.

    12/1: met with RE to discuss trying for #2

    Thank you for all your comments, ladies! It does give me hope (even though, you're all right, I wouldn't know right now with a test). I am going to wait till Wednesday to frer and will let you all know what happens. Beta is next week Monday, and I am doing all I can to stay calm. My mind is a little crazy because I keep going back and forth 'am I in, am I out', I'm just a little psycho right now LOL! Thank you so much everyone!

    I tested 6dp5dt and got a faint pos. Then the next day I got a digi positive.

    I tested at 5dp5dt and got a pretty solid positive. I think I could have seen the faint line if I had tested 4dpt.

    Me: 33 DH: 32 SA#1 low count (6mil) SA#2- now in IUI range!(30mil) Dx:MFI
    11/1- IUI#1,12/1- IUI#2, 1/2- IUI#3 all BFFN
    IVF#1. Long Lupron.ER 3/8 10R,4M,5F. ET 3/3-one 1AB, 2 frosties 5dp5dt-BFP!! Beta 3/25-794 Beta 3/27- 1794
    First u/s 4/8 saw hb. 4/22 missed mc 8w3d. d&c 4/26
    FET #1- bcp start 6/9. ET 7/12. 2 perfect blasts.5dpt-BFP!! 
    Beta 7/24 -1,239!! Beta 7/26- 2569 Beta 7/29- 7120.  U/S 8/7 hb 118! U/S 8/14 hb 143! U/S 8/20 hb 170. Graduated!! Stick baby stick!

    I got a really faint one in the eve of 3dp5dt and it got progressively darker. My first beta 11dp5dt was 319. Didn't have a ton of symptoms; I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow and don't feel dramatically different. Good Luck!!

    8dp3dt and got a + on two cheapies, a FRER and a digi...lol

    I was PG with twins tho, so my levels were a tad higher

    DH and I tested 11dp and got a very faint positive and then each day after it got a little darker. By day 13 and 14 we got bright positives and 2 digital tests. Good luck to you!!

    GL to you! I'm 8dpo and 6dpt now im inspired to go to the dollar store OMG! do you have any sx? Mine are:

    Bloated belly

    Hungry esp in morning

    vivid dreams

    short of breath with moderate activity

    TMI horrible farts lol

    boobs sore esp nipples and today flashes of pain throughout

    lots of CM esp in am

    nausea and dizziness until about 1pm

     

    I am wondering if all these are my PIO symptoms plus Estrace (vaginal) side effects....

    Well, OFF to the dollar store I go! KUP!
