Growth Spurts??

Have your LO had a growth spurt here and there?  I heard there is one when a baby hits around 3rd month.  What was it like??  How long does it usually last?

I am guessing my LO is going through it, but I am not sure.  Here are some new phenomenon I am seeing

- Her sleeping patter has been unstable in the past few days.  (one day STTN, another day waking up @ 2, 3am, etc)
- Screaming and not taking a bottle.  She started getting fussy, so I thought she was hungry, but she refused to take a bottle which was sooooo unusual!

I hope this passes soon because we are taking her for a weekend hiking trip for the first time in this weekend!

There are lots of growth spurts as well as wonder weeks those first 6 months. For us, growth spurts caused fussiness and insatiable hunger. They would last about 2 days or so. Wonder weeks are about the same, especially with the poor sleep. But on the other side of a wonder week leap, you will notice LO has a new skill. The wonder weeks are kind of fascinating if you ask me. I think you can google the approximate age ranges of them.

A's growth spurts typically last three days. She eats constantly and when she isn't nursing, she's sleeping! They were very noticeable before 2 months, after that her behavior was different, but not so extreme.
