I'm a little confused........The screening that i did for downs came back 1:46 and the maternal fetal appt is not until Dec 4, I will be 20 weeks pregnant, if this is such a risk how come wait until 20 weeks to do a consultation? Should i be worried that they wait until 20 weeks to just do a consultation now??? I'm freakin out!

    If you are worried, call and get an earlier appointment. Last pg my risk of Downs was 1<5, so your risk does not seem very high to me Smile

    I would call and move the appointment up. My risk after the NT scan was 1in 40 for DS. I was able to have my CVS done that very same day but my dr is a maternal/fetal specialist for high risk pregnacy. Perhaps your OB can help you get a sooner appointment.
