How many do you take a month? Sorry I'm new to all of this. Any information would be appreciated.
A trigger shot, like Ovidrel, is only prescribed once per cycle. It is a dose of hCG and the injection triggers ovulation. Depending on your course of treatment, you may do more than the one injection per cycle. Usually the trigger is paired with some form of an FSH stimulant to encourage the follicles to mature. Those meds can come in the form of an oral tablet or injections.
Are you under the care of a reproductive endocrinologist? These treatments are pretty serious, and can be dangerous without the proper monitoring.
My first one was 100 but the last two cycles it was only 9.95!!! You just need one per cycle.

Yes I am under the care of a RE. I am currently taking clomid but I'm afraid I have taken them too soon. Last week I started what I thought was a light period, but now that I look back it was obviously just spotting because yesterday I started my period. I know that's what it is bc it is red blood and normal flow. I'm so worried I messed up! I have left a message at my doctor's office and I'm waiting for them to return my call. I have an appointment Friday for my ultrasound to see if the clomid worked and I was asking on here about the trigger shots bc I wanted to talk to my doctor about them Friday. Thanks for all the information! It was helpful!

That sounds confusing! I hope your RE gets back to you soon and you can get all the info you need. Best of luck!
