BFP now spotting??

Got our BFP this morning and now I've got a brownish/red spotting. It's only when I wipe. I am freaking out now!! DH is thinking its implantation bleeding. Could it be or is something wrong?

    If you already got a +hpt it's not implantation bleeding. I have some women mention having some spotting. How many days past IUI are you?

    Me: 33 DH: 32 SA#1 low count (6mil) SA#2- now in IUI range!(30mil) Dx:MFI

    Agreed, implantation would occur before a positive hpt. I've also heard spotting can be possible in early pg. I hope it's nothing, GL

    I am 13dp our first IUI. I am just praying something isn't wrong. I've been looking at different things and so has DH about what it could be. I did see that during early pregnancy you can have some spotting. I am PRAYING that's what it is. We are taking another HPT in the morning just to be on the safe side. My heart has sunk. DH is thinking maybe the ovidrel shot was still in my system and maybe we shouldn't have tested yet. We tested a few days early but today was our big "PREGNANT!"

    I think you still have hope. 13 days post IUI and a positive pregnancy test! Try and have a restful evening. Light spotting does not mean its over. Hang in there

    With my DS I spotted for weeks just like you are explaining. My doc always advised that whenever there is pink spotting, put your feet up and rest until it subsides. DS is 10 now, so it is very possible that everything is okay! Sending prayers your way!

    ET of 2 great quality embryos. + BFP on 9dp5dt. Beta #1 (10dp5dt): 257, Beta #2 (14dp5dt): 1561,

    Beta #3 (21dp5d5): 8,172. Wow. It seems this is actually working. Shocked beyond belief.

    1st u/s @6w5d: Baby A hb 124, Baby B hb 127 (Both measuring perfectly!)

    Lost baby A. Praying that baby B stays healthy. Baby B hb 175 at 11 weeks

    It's a GIRL!!!

    Butting in as I was lurking to check in on some friends. This pg has been a rocky road for me, but baby boy just kicked as I was typing this. I got my BFP on Super Bowl Sunday. I started spotting the night before,we thought we were totally out that month. Then I had red clots plus nasty prog chunks or could have been clots. Sorry if that was TMI! It would have been 12dpo when the spotting started and lasted 3 days. I was terrified as it was our second IVF. My RE let us move the betas to 13dpo and 15. Thankfully the betas were good. We are pg with one baby, I also had a major bleed at 10 weeks, but it was a SCH and doesn't relate to you. Spotting/bleeding is common, not great, but not the end of the world. GL!! I hope this gives you some hope and I hope you get some great betas soon and join us over at PGIF!!
    TTC#1: 14 months on our own (did HSG, b/w, SA);
    BFP on Cycle 14--TWINS! Identical twin boys stillborn at 19wks(1/9/10)
    3 break cycles; took clomid 50mg, BFP #2 Beta #1 35, Beta #2 338!!! Owen was born 2/11/11! 
    TTC#2: 4 cycles on clomid: BFNs
    BFP #3: Cycle #5 100mg clomid; beta #1 21; beta #2 6=CP

    While later on in the pregnancy there was a loss, my most recent pregnancy had early spotting.  RE said it's nothing to worry about, but she also had knowledge of my betas.  Fx for you <3

    DX: MFI-Very Low Count, I have Hashimotos.
    IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst
    IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
    ET delayed due to OHSS 
    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
    FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

    My RE said that spotting is common and not to stress if I do. FX that it's nothing, hang in there!!

    Thank you ladies!! I didn't have any spotting as of yet this morning. I did take two more HPTs but haven't checked the results yet. I have to wake up DH because he asked to be the first to look at all tests. I am hoping for another two BFPs and then I can call the doctor to ask whats going on and to make sure our little miracle is ok. I am so glad to have this forum/group of ladies to turn too. You all put my mind at ease.

    The same thing happened to me the night before my beta. And I'm 8weeks now. It can be implantation or your uterus. If you get a flow that's when you should be worried.
    TTC Since 112010 Naturally. Diagnose:PCOS(ME) + Low Motility(HIM). Started IVF+ICSI Cycle 12312. ER 27 & ET 210 two embies transferred. *BFN 1ST IVF CYCLE.* **Getting as healthy as possible and will try IVFICSI#2 again hopefully in April.** -- HAVE FAITH; LET GO & LET GOD --

    Both tests came out positive and I've had no spotting still. Have a call into the doctor so when they return my call I will ask them about it. Having you all tell me that it is normal has set my mind at ease though. Still hasn't sunk in that this is actually happening.

    If I've learned anything from having 3 miscarriages, it's that spotting is common in early pregnancy and that you can have a miscarriage and not bleed at all missed miscarriage.nbsp; Basically, every situation is different, so try not to worry.nbsp; Your HPT says positive and the spotting has stopped.nbsp; Of course, telling you not to worry is easier said than done.nbsp; I hope you have a Hamp;H 9 months.nbsp; Congrats!


    Thank you!! I go for blood work 2x this week and 2x next week so I am hopingy numbers keep going up. I have faith that everything is great and the baby is just fine!!
