First borns, early or late?

Hey, for those of you moms who have done this before, did your first born arrive early or late?

If early or late, by how much?

#1 and #2 came at the very beginning of 38 weeks. Both were big-ish babies (approx 8 pounds) and I went into labor naturally. It was seriously perfect.

Our DD was born pretty much right on time, only 1 day after her due date. Went into labor naturally and it lasted almost exactly 12 hours from the time I woke up with contractions until the time she was born,

My DD got kicked out, I was induced, 8 days late! I really want to avoid induction this time! She was a 9 pounder.

DS was one week late. I went into labor on Wednesday and was going to be induced on Thursday. Hopefully it will be different this time - he was 8 lb 14 oz and the labor was terrible.

I was induced at 40w6d. He wasn't coming out on his own, and as it was, his head was too big to fully engage anyway. I ended up with a csection and 9lb 14oz baby. This time, baby will be a week early due to RCS.

DD was 10 days late! I was two days from being induced. All of my moms babies were about 10 days late, including the twins.

My water broke at 37 weeks 3 days with my first.

#1 came two weeks early but I was induced due to pre-e. #2 & 3 were a week early, but again, I was induced for medical reasons.

All were big babies too, so I'm thankful I was didn't go past my EDD! DS1 was 9.5lbs (yes, 2 weeks early) and DD & DS2 were both 9.3lbs 1 week early.

DD was born on her due date. Went in the night before with irregular contractions, started pitocin, got some sleep, and she came the next morning.

DS came 38w3d...but I almost went into labor at 35 weeks last time, so I expect this LO might be even earlier. Who knows, though...

Ds came 4 days late barely. I was in labour all day the day before and he arrive just before 2am.

I went in to be induced 2 days before my due date, for medical reasons, and found out I was already in labor on my own. She was born the next afternoon, so a day early.

I was induced on my due date.

One benefit to being due 2 weeks after Christmas this time around is hopefully I will feel less impatient towards the end, since I want baby to be born as far past Christmas as possible!

I was induced 3 days past my due date but I think I was already in the early stages of labor

My water broke on my due date but he didn't come until the next day. he was a very large baby-over 10lbs- so I am glad i didn't do too late

#1 - water broke at 36.5 weeks. Found out later I have an arcuate uterus, so that could be why.

#2 - took 17HP shots and made it to almost 41 weeks.

Ds came a few days early. Due date was 11/11/11 and he came early due to a car accident. We were lucky for multiple reasons.

dd 1 came a week early and then ds 2 came in his due date my water broke and he was born the next day.

Ds1 was early but only because I was induced for pre-e. (DD was a RCS)

DS2 came early, went into labor on my own at 37w 2 days. And Thank god, because he was 9lbs 10oz.

I went into labor with my first on his due date. He was born 2 days later ( yup you read that right.)

I was induced at 40w1d. My ds was 7 lbs 12 oz.

All of my mom's babies came at least 2 weeks late, which probably wouldn't happen these days because all 3 were planned c-sections (my older sister was breach and my mom would not have been a candidate for vbac as her incisions were vertical).

My first I went into labour 3 days late and had her 5 days late. No induction necessary. My second I went into labour on my due date and had her 3 hours after my due date.
