Bahaha, for every decent picture there are a dozen bad ones, KWIM? My photographer said she had a woman come in for some like 2 months pp. no way Jose! She said it was all in the posing after I said I need time to lose a few pounds.

I had them done! I did in in 2011 after I spent 6 months losing weight and hit my goal weight. I got KU right after (like literally, 8 hours later) so it was kind of a fun way to showcase the last of my pre-baby body.

It was not awkward at all. It was a female photographer about my age, and she had a younger female assistant. They did my make-up and suggested all kinds of fun poses and fit my personality. I had it done in a suite at a historic bed and breakfast. It was more like a girls day out than a photo session, honestly. A big print was included in the package - DH got to pick the photo. (He plans to hang it up when he has a walk-in closet someday, which I think is an adorable place for it.) He also paid for a "little black book" of prints.

So, it was really fun and I would highly suggest it!

I get what you mean. I say go for it though, it seems like something that could be a good confidence booster, and you don't have to let anyone see how they turn out if it makes you uncomfortable.

It still makes me sad - especially when I come across the still-wrapped box. NONE of them were naked, only bra/undies or gown that covered by butt. I got a good head shot out of it if you don't notice my straps are bra straps instead of a tank top. I'd post another of my favorites that you can't see my face in but I can't find the copy without the photographer's watermark (she'd sent me the proofs with watermarks and removed the watermarks for the ones I wanted for DH).

I really suggest everyone doing it!! You're all beautiful and it's an amazing confidence booster. After I got mine done a friend did some with the same photographer (more budoir-ish). I know her hubby loved it.

Lol he has improved. He actually was a completely different person before we moved to AZ away from his friends. I think he got depressed and he took it out on me. I then felt awful about "forcing" him to move (by simply telling him I was moving and it was his choice to stay or go) and let him get away with more than I should have. I became a total pushover and he took advantage of it. Though, this morning as I'm getting ready for work and he's on the phone and NOT helping with the kids, I'm tempted by your single sexy friend...

I got them done as a wedding gift to DH. I am getting them done again in August. I'm currently 30 lbs heavier than I was when I first got them done. I don't care, I'm going to an awesome place and will get pampered and I have seen their before and afters, they make every woman look sexy. I might be pregnant at the time though, lol.

He's really and truly gotten 10x better than before with everything. Don't get me wrong - he has his moments. However, he'll actually communicate without just stomping off like a child. I know he's among the biggest douchcanoe husbands on the board; however, he's also working hard to get better. I can't just walk away when things ARE improving because he's putting forth a lot of effort.

Yep, I had them taken for our first anniversary (traditional first anniversary gift is paper... so he got a boudoir book...). I'm lucky in that my sister is a high end fashion photographer so it wasn't really awkward at all. The pictures turned out beautiful, they were classically sexy and not raunchy at all - and fwiw, I'm an extremely modest person. I don't even wear v-necks, lol.

You are so gorgeous!!! I won't even comment on the husband thing...but why don't you take them out of the box and just have them for yourself? I look at mine way more than DH does and I really like looking at them.
