I can't even believe she's going to be 2. Like, forreals? Ugh.
Theme will be Curious George.
The 25th is a Sunday so I may set the party for after my churchgoing relatives have emerged from worship. Or I may just set it for Saturday. Still not sure.
We may be heading out of town on her birthday and I'm slightly (though I feel bad) relieved we won't have to have a party. Around here you're expected to invite all the kids your kids know and all of your friends kids. It's madness.
If we decide to throw one, it will hopefully be a backyard BBQ, probably no theme.

Don't think we are doing a theme this year. DS and DN will have a joint party because their birthdays are a week apart. We are planning the party on August 11th probably around noon. This mama is not cooking so we are ordering pizza. My RCS will be scheduled for sometime after the weekend.

We'll probably do it on the 25th. Sundays tend to be less chaotic in everyone's schedule.
I'm a planner to the extreme, so I've had her theme picked out since her LAST birthday ( And I have an idea about her 3rd party theme already... I know, it's just easier to buy stuff on sale way in advance and store it) For her 2nd birthday we're doing an Olivia theme with tons of red white and black, polka dots, chevron, stripes, etc.
I'm actually not freaked out about her turning 2. She acts like a 2 year old (tantrums, independence, potty-training) so I think my brain has accepted that she's 2.
No real theme, but the colors are tiffany blue, bright pink, and bright orange. Her invitations have a cute crab at the top with the same colors in the background.
Party is going to be at the beach.
Absolutely freaking out that Brooklyn will be two in a month and a half.. When did that happen?
Other than having decided that I don't want to throw a big party (like last year), I haven't put a ton of thought into it. I'd really just like to do something fun with her to celebrate the day, like go to the Philadelphia Zoo. And then a small cake and ice cream celebration with immediate family. Maybe grill hot dogs and hamburgers if I'm feeling ambitious. That's about it.
DD2 will be just about 2.5 months old by then, so I'm waiting to see how we're all feeling/adjusting when the time gets closer. I may consider leaving her with my ILs for the zoo trip so DH and I can do some one-on-one time with DD. But it will depend on a lot of factors.
I haven't picked a date. I need to coordinate with her friend's mom because girls have the same birthday. I bought some circus animal invites and plates in the michaels dollar aisle a few months back, so that'll be the theme. It's going to be an afternoon at our house for Hazel's playgroup buddies with snacks and cake. Fun stuff.
We plan to kind of go with the flow this year, which I kinda feel bad about. For her first birthday she had a virus, and was at urgent care the morning of her party with a 105 fever. My mom and sister ended up coming over and we had cake and watched cartoons. The whole house was decorated though, and we left it like that for about a week.
This year baby will be about a month old, so family will still be trickling in to meet her. We figured we would BBQ each day that family comes, and then have cupcakes and such. So really, a long drawn out party that P can enjoy with everyone, and everyone can meet her sister as well.
Oops, I haven't planned at all. Looks like I need to get on it. His birthday is on the 19th, which is a Monday, so we'll probably do it on the weekend before.
Last year, we had a big Curious George themed party and invited a bunch of people. This year, we won't do a theme and it will most likely just be family for a cookout and cake. That is, unless DH goes a little crazy like he did last year. We had more balloons and food than we knew what to do with!

Still trying to process that Chase is fixing to be 2. Besides the lack of sleep, I'm not really sure where the past 2 years went.
Theme-probably going to be Jake and the Neverland Pirates or Cars because that is our big addictions right now.
Date-since his birthday falls on a Tuesday it will probably be the Saturday after. Our local university has its first home game that day and our families are big supporters so we will probably do the party and tailgate at the same time

// I love you too. //
No theme, and we may not end up having one, we don't really need one since it will be at the Children's Museum.
I cannot even believe that he's going to be 2. Where the hell does time go?
Xander's party will be on Sunday, July 28th at 3:30.
Theme will probably be Mickey Mouse.
We will be having a party in the park with family.
Yes!! I can't believe his is about to turn 2 years old and then his sister will be here very shortly afterwards. ::Cue freak out::
The party will be on the 17th at 2:00.
Theme will be Disney Cars .
I get freaked out everytime I see the days till his birthday on the ticker! Time has gone by too quick.

Half Mickey Mouse and half Iron Man 3 theme.
I'm scared! A 2 year old and a 13 year old. Toddler and teen life. Shiit just got real.

And I can't believe we are having a second birthday party. It's crazy! Where is my tiny baby?

We'll do a water theme/splash bash/sprinkler party in the backyard on 8/25. Probably 10-2 or so. I'm excited.
And already feeling guilty for my little guy who will be 1 on 12/11...December bday parties are gonna suck compared to August
