My 14 month old LO is still not walking. I know that all kids develop at their own speed, but it seems as if he's been behind on his milestones. He really started crawling by 11 months, so I knew walking wouldn't be overnight, but I'm getting frustrated. Any of you moms out there going through the same thing with your LO?
Re: Still not walking?
No worries!
Having worked in daycare I have noticed a fair share of children who did not walk by 14 months.
My friends daughter didn't crawl or cruise on furniture then Boom, one day she up and walked.
Is he holding your hands and walking or putting weight on his feet or standing? Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the actual first step that we miss the little things that are preparing them to walk.
No worries, my DD began walking at exactly 15 months (last week) it happened from one day to another. He gained courage and just decided to walk last Monday evening. Now he's all over the place. Don't worry, your LO will get there when he's ready

No worries lady! Dom is 16 months and has no interest. His pediatrician checked his balance and everything at his 15 month checkup. Though a little wobbly, and not letting go of her hand, she said he his ready and just needs his courage to build up.
My mom always told me I didn't walk until 18 months. O_o
She says he is lazy like me. :oP
Confidence issue here as well!
