1. What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten?
I think oysters are pretty weird. Some people love them some hate them.
2. If you had an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it?
Scrapbooking probably. I love it but it takes so much time to set up and put away.
3. If you wrote a book, what would it be about?
Right now it would be about stillbirth and Addison's story. It's been really cathartic writing her birth story and I find myself going back and adding details as they come to me. Even if no one reads it I'm still happy it's on paper.
4. What was your nickname growing up or now?
Shellster's and Shellifer of Shell's. FIL calls me Dill aka DIL he thinks he'c clever. lol
5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things?
I was in a lot of leadership stuff. Link Crew, Fundraising for Africa called One Hope Revolution, DECA and youth group. I like leading people so sort of in the same things I suppose. I was one of those kids who was super dooper involved. DH on the other hand did nothing in hs just chase me around.

2. If you had an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it? Sleeping.
3. If you wrote a book, what would it be about? Crafting

5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things? I was in student government, the gay- straight alliance and drama.
I would love to still be acting and still fully support gay rights.

1. What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten?
There was a "roadkill" stand at a street fair in Australia.(they said it was not actually roadkill - it was supposed to be funny I think) I tried alligator, crocodile and kangaroo(I know, I tried not think about how cute they were! - it helped that the locals told me they were mean!!) There was other stuff too but I cant remember it...
2. If you had an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it?
I would love to say I would do something productive like go to the gym or clean or take the dogs on a walk, but I would probably just goof off, watch tv and bump...
3. If you wrote a book, what would it be about?
Oh gosh I don't know! It wouldn't be any good!! I love writing, but a book takes a lot of focus. I would probably write a fictional story about a woman and her loyal dog. Or maybe one day an inspirational compilation about overcoming loss?(with more stories than just mine!)
4. What was your nickname growing up or now?
I've never really had a nickname, so I would be making this up...and i'm not a good liar.
5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things?
Anchor Club, Math Team, Mu Alpha Theta(math club), A Christian club that I can't remember the name of right now(I promise I was active - I am also just forgetful! ugh that will bother me all day!), Publications, Marching Band, Youth group
some things... I am still into community service. I'm an accountant, so I guess I sill like math most days. I'm very involved in our church (who's name I remember quite well!). I don't really write anymore except sometimes for professional publications, but I guess that counts... I just joined the community band, so hopefully that will work out too because I do miss band.

I would probably volunteer more...or get enough sleep for once.

Oh that is a good question...ummm I've always liked high fantasy some epic tale of dragons and demons.

Jess pretty much is my name now.
5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things?
Robotics club, drama club, and chorus. I am still interested in all of these and my degree will hopefully get me I to the field of robotics.

yes - this does not sound like an ideal cooking method. I'm sure I would have spit it out since I don't even like it battered and fried...

Ah me as well! I loved the tech work although I was usually in the musicals because I loved dance.
I used to spend a lot of time scrapbooking but stopped for the reason you mentioned. I'd read your book:)

That's interesting about the "roadkill". You were super involved. That's neat about joining the community band. I think I saw your post about that earlier. You play the flute right? I played the flute in hs too.

2. If you had an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it? I'd probably read or exercise.
3. If you wrote a book, what would it be about? I'd probably write a comedy fiction, based loosely on my life.
4. What was your nickname growing up or now? FurlyLee. My favorite aunt always called me this and now my husbands nephews call me Auntie Furly because they have 3 aunt Jennys.
5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things? National Honors Society, Yearbook, Newspaper, and band. I like to write but I don't do anything with it, other than journal. I am very rusty musically. I played flute in band and have basically forgotten how to read music. I play piano by ear and still enjoy that but it's been awhile.

5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things? Band, choir, chorale, women's chorus, pep band, marching band, full orchestra, theatre, swimming, track & field, and soccer. I was waaay too involved. I still love all things music, theatre, and swimming.

I kinda go on binges. I get everything out set it up on the kitchen table and then it stays our for weeks and then months. Then I pack it all up and wait for more pictures to come along. I'd really like to get it back out but it's just a ton of work!
Aww thank you. I like the idea of writing everything about my pregnancy and her and having it in once place. I've thought about even writing a few articles and submitting then to Standing Still. My writing skills are sub par but I think the content is powerful and with some editing they could be decent.

1. What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten? I tried bacon ice cream last year. The flavor wasn't bad, but it left something to be desired in the texture department.
2. If you had an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it? I probably should use it to clean, my house is always a disaster, but I'd probably just sleep.
3. If you wrote a book, what would it be about? I've been telling my mom for years that I'm going to write a book about her love life.. I still might, lol.
4. What was your nickname growing up or now? I got a really horrible haircut at one point and got the name poodlehead. It was kind of traumatic at the time, but I can laugh about it now, lol.
5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things? Yearbook was my main thing. I work in marketing now, so I still get to do some of the writing/design stuff.

I think that is pretty cool that you can play piano by ear. I tried instruments but never had the patience for anything except guitar.

My friends and I want to write a book about our group of friends but sort of positioned in a way that gives advice to late 20 somethings and 30 somethings. We just have so many crazy stories. My life closely parallels a lot of stuff on HIMWM, it's creepy.

1. What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten?
Rocky Mountain Oysters. I've tried a lot of strange foods though - octopus, squid, etc. I'm willing to try most foods once.
2. If you had an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it?
This depends on the day - exercise, read, clean house. All those things that need to get done or I never feel like I have enough time to do.
3. If you wrote a book, what would it be about?
Probably some Science Fiction thing. I have a ton of SciFi story starters from when I was younger.
4. What was your nickname growing up or now?
I've always just been Katie. As a day camp leader when I was younger, my nickname was "Bugs" though.
5. What clubs were you a member of in highschool? Are you still interested in the same things?
I think the only "club" I was in was swim team. I stopped swimming shortly after high school for various reasons, but last fall started up again.

Kangaroo. It tasted fine, but the lady at the next table heard us talking about it, and she came over to tell us she was from Australia and the kangaroo was her family's coat of arms. Plus I couldn't stop thinking about Kanga and Roo from Winnie the Pooh.

Same here. I had it for the first time a few months ago and didn't care for the bacon texture with the ice cream.
