Stomach pouch

Am I the only one whose post-pregnancy belly doesn't seem to be getting any better, almost a year later? I've lost all the pregnancy weight, and then some, but my stomach is still really flabby. I work out and I watch what I eat, but I'm starting to look weird; my arms and legs are disproportionately skinny when compared to my mid-section...

Re: Stomach pouch

  • Is it loose skin? Mine will never be the same.  Skin lost elasticity. I've probably got a bit of diastasis recti going on too.  It's a bit depressing Huh?

  • I am in the same situation.  I lost the weight but my hips/stomach are different now.  Everything seems flabby and lose. I don't think it will every be the same again.

I'm totally rocking a pooch still.  At my annual, my OBGYN felt around and confirmed that most of it is scar tissue from my c-section.  So...without surgery, I can't get rid of it.  Boo. Crying

same here, fml. It's not usually too noticeable though since the incision is so far down, but I did find some flattering bikini bottoms at VS that cover it pretty well.

This is NOT ME but is exactly what my stomach looks likeimageokay I'm quite a bit fatter but you get the idea. C sections are horrible looking afterwards. The only way to really fix all the loose skin and such is with surgery. My plan is to diet and exercise hard core when I'm done having kids and get a mommy makeover. In the mean time, I'm just happy that I'm pregnant again so my tummy will fill in and not look so god awful.

Same here waaaaaaaahhhhhhhh its sucks balls! 1 more kid to go and then I'm getting a tuck. Its just gross. Effing genetics.

Someone should tell this to the dumb broads who schedule medically unneccessary C-sections b/c they don't want their precious vaginas ruined.

This could VERY WELL be a picture of me, and I had two vaginal deliveries.  I've been crunchin' it up every day and I still have the "flap".  Boo.

My stomach looks like that, but there's even more flab. I'm happy to know I'm not alone. I'm going to try all the ab exercises that were posted, and hope I see some progress some day...
