Sleep!

Howell only woke once last night for the first time since my surgery! It's like a drug because I don't feel satisfied. I just want more.

He slept from 8:00 until 4:00 on the dot, nursed and slept until 7:30.

I think I am going to make a new rule of no nursing before four and go from there. When he did it in Chicago, he did it consistently every night untin I brought him home and he broke so here's hoping. How were your nights?

    Yay!!!! I think that sounds like a good plan then hopefully he will just drop that feeding on his own.

    My ds has been STTN for a couple weeks now and it has been blissful but I feel you because I just want more!

    Way to go H!
    Woke up to nurse at 1 then 630. Not happy about the 1 but she is STILL sleeping and it's after 8 so I guess I'll take it!

    Good for you!!

    We had a week of starting the day around 4:40, thank you teething.

    I think B realized I needed a break. He slept from 7:15 to 7:15. Thank goodness.

    Setting guidelines for when they would be fed in the MOTN really helped teach our babies how to STTN. We started with only feeding them if it had been 4 hours, then 5, then 6 etc. Eventually it became no eating before 6 am. We did this while they were still young enough to really enjoy sucking on our fingers so it was enough to soothe them if they weren't going to eat. They have been sleeping between 12 and 14 hours a night with no wake ups for about 3 months now. It's glorious! I hope you get there soon.

    I got sleep too! First time since he's been born. Lol. Ds slept from 7 to 2:30 in his pnp, I nursed him and tried to put him back down, but he cried, so I brought him back to bed with me. He got up at 6, nursed, and slept for another hour.

    It was nice. I hope every night is like this!

    L slept through the night for the first time ever!! I am shocked and thrilled. Probably a fluke but I will take it.

    Yay for sleeping babies.

    Maybe it was the storms that brought us the sleep dust for our babies! V slept from 7 to 9:30 and then until 4! Too bad my 5 yo woke up twice in between. So I still didn't get sleep. Boo!
