So, my Panorama was inconclusive.. WTFFFFF!!

So my so called results came in. Nurse called to tell me they were "inconclusive". Apparently there wasn't enough fetal DNA in the sample

Are you FCKING kidding me?!

I am headed back in for another damn Panorama blood draw and will enter ANOTHER 15 business day wait. I could also have an amnio at 16w and wait a week for the results. Same amount of time before I know anything either way.

I'm so pissed and frustrated, and I just can't believe this BS. I just want to cry and scream. God, give me some damn relief PLEASE.

Oh jeez, I am SO sorry to hear this. is there anyway it can be marked rush or anything of that nature??? How obnoxious that it took THIS long to find out that there wasn't enough fetal DNA..... I would tell you to try not to stress, but I know that's impossible right now.

It just means they couldn't find enough fetal chromomes to get a good result. Give another sample now and you should be fine. This happens quite a bit, especially if you gave your sample early, like 9 or 10 weeks. I waited until 11 to hopefully avoid this issue but I was warned it could happen anyway.

It doesn't mean anything is wrong with the baby so don't panic.

uchhhh!!! I'm so sorry to hear this!!!! Are there any other tests they could do instead like Harmony or Maternit21? Not sure that it would make any difference or if they measure for the trisomies your doctor is measuring.

Can't they put a rush on it at least the second time around?!?!?

Well there no result rate is really high.

Do Maternit21, their no result rate is less than 1% and much better test.

Believe it or not all of these new tests are not the same.

I'm just saying if its an option that's all. Not sure why these doctors offer a crappier test that have super high no result rates and they call them all the same. not true. plus Maternit21 turnaround time is less than 7 business days

Oh no...so sorry you have to deal this again this after that agonizing wait!! Like other pp's said, I would definitely see if they can put a rush on your results. Hopefully they can and you do NOT have to wait that long again!

Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words and input.

My Doc does not offer MaterniT21 so Panorama is my best choice.

I did ask for them to rush the results and the nurse said she would mark it as so. I even offered to throw money at her if she'd get my results quicker. I don't think she got the humor, saying, "no we don't do that." Yah, I know genius.

Soooo here we go again, another 10 to 15 business day wait.

Now I'm going to drink the shiz out of this strawberry shake from McDonalds I bought on my way home.
