Rant about my crazy SIL!

So here is the deal. My sister in law is a crazy pants! She is mad at me because she wanted to go out and I didn?t invite her to come out with DH and me to my friend?s boyfriend?s birthday party almost a month ago. She does not know my friend and she for sure doesn?t know her boyfriend but she was all butt hurt about it. I tried inviting her to a BBQ at our house and she said no and then told my BIL (thank god he is perfectly sane or I would worry about my kids genetics) that I only asked to look good in front of their mom even though when I originally asked her to come their mom wasn?t around but she didn?t let me finish but when I finished what I was saying her mom came back?so stupid.

Now we have a family wedding to go to on Friday and I thought ?let?s just put this behind us? and I texted her for the first time since May 17^th and just said ?hey I was talking to your cousin Sandy and she is saving us seats at the wedding. Are you coming? She can save you a spot too.? I get back ?Yes I am going but don?t bother to save me a seat because I won?t sit there.? UGGGHHHHH!!!!! I live in Michigan now but I am an Irish chick from New Jersey, plus I am pregnant and my epic need to just cut a *** is just getting to be too much!

I want to confront her but all sides keep telling me ?just ignore her she will stop eventually.? Yeah it?s been almost a month I don?t think she is stopping. She was supposed to be LO?s god mother but that ain?t gonna happen now that she took the train to crazy town. She always does this. My DH even said the day we told our family ?give her 2 weeks she will be mad at you about something.??.it took 8 days! She did the same thing around the time of our wedding. God only knows how upset she will be when LO gets here because their mom is going to be watching him/her while we are at work so it will be attention on LO 24/7! I just broke down and texted her ? I am going against what everyone has told me and my better judgment and just asking?.why are you so mad at me?? What I really wanted to say is ?Why are you being such a crazy ***???lol.Does anyone else out there have to deal with this kind of drama? If so I would love to hear about it because right now I feel like I am trapped on Crazy Island and the only way to get through is to go into the shark infested water!

I would seriously be done with her. It's rude to invite someone to a party that is not your own, definitely not your place to do so. So you were right not to invite her. She sounds like a terrible self centered person. I'd let her know straight up that her actions and attitude are unacceptable and until she can act like an adult you will not be communicating with her. What a brat, I seriously feel sorry for you. I hope she can eventually act civil towards you. You definitely don't need her crap. Cut her off.

My SIL went crazy we me and DH told the family about our pregnacy, this is my third pregnancy, first two I miscarried before 6 weeks. She thinks she has the right to get pregnant first because she is the eldest and the first to get married! She even told her parents that she hopes I miscarry this child too!

I confronted her and she admitted it, I told her that from that moment she is not having a part of my child's life till she apologises to me and DH an grows up and acts her 32 years!

I am now 12 weeks and so glad I've swept all her crap away!!!

My dad is kind of like this too. Him and my mom are separated and he's a total jerk and gets all butt hurt and angry if she finds out something before him. She has an amazing boyfriend and they came to visit us and stayed the night. My dad refuses to visit cause her boyfriend was here, hung up on me when found out I was pregnant cause she found out first, and says he will not come to the hospital or any birthday parties if her boyfriend is there. He thinks about himself constantly. I was the worst person in the world to him cause I went with to my moms side family reunion and she brought her boyfriend. Goes on and on about how I betrayed him. Then tells me I'm a brat and selfish. Pfffffft.

Yep...she is 22. She REALLY has the 2 part down, still working on the 20. She seriously has a full time job and is getting a Masters Degree in Social work?I really pray for the people who will have her as a social worker!

Let me tell you from real life, day to day experience...When you argue with a toddler, you have already lost the argument. And your SIL is acting like a toddler. Selfish, unreasonable, unrealistic, and cannot be reasoned with. Just cut your losses and when she grows up, she'll come back around.

Well ladies we hashed it out and guess what?I was right! The root of all of this was because I didn?t invite her to someone else?s birthday party. How can I even be mad at her for that? That is something my 7 year old niece would get mad about? not a 22 year old woman with a college degree and a full time job!...lol. I feel better now. I thought I was at least fighting on my level but apparently not!
