I'm looking to name baby #2, a boy, due Dec 2nd but planning on arriving via RCS end of Nov. DD is Katelyn. Our last name is LONG, 3 syllables, 9 letters, lots of Ses. Kind of like Kaminski.
Our "rules" are the child cant have same name as a family member or friend, due to our last name it needs to be easy last name and cant be in top 10 popularity.
I LOVE Ian but DH worked for one who was a jerk so that name is out. I also love William but cant due to Will/Kate as I posted about a week ago.
We were searching and found Aaron. We like it. But I'm not in LOVE with it.
Thoughts?
Re: Thoughts on Aaron?
How do you pronounce it? I say them both like AIR-in. I didn't know there was another way.
OP, I like it, simple, classic and not overused.

I love the idea of Eli!
Aaron is a fine name, but I do think that it's boring.
Suggestions: Elijah, James, Gabriel, Samuel, Lucas, Isaac, Caleb, Wyatt, Isaiah, Henry, Eli, Jack, Nicholas, Levi, Thomas, Oliver, Nathaniel

Yup. Two different pronunciations. It seems like only people from the Northeast pronounce them differently.
Aaron is a good strong name!
And fwiw, I also like William and don't think Will/Kate would be a big deal.
I was also going to add this and then saw your comment.. Aaron is not a unisex name!!!!
