What does adjusted age mean? I have a 3 week old dd who was born at 36 weeks. Her original due date is 6-14. I keep seeing people post that phrase but can't figure out what it means exactly.
It means their age if they had been born on time. It is adjusted for prematurity. My dd is 11 months, or 8 months adjusted because she was 3 months early.

This. Is your pedi adjusting her age for prematurity? If you so you would base her milestones and growth of of her adjusted age which would be her EDD. My sister had 36 weekers but they never really adjusted age for them since they were late term preemies and didn't require a NICU stay.
