  I planned to wait until 20 weeks but my Ob is doing U/S every visit so I might find out sooner. He says we should know my next visit but I will only be about 15 weeks.

  I am getting the a/s at 18 weeks and will find out then!

I think at my appointment this Friday we'll actually schedule that appt! Once that happens I'm pretty sure it'll feel like that day is here in a flash.
  

  You could have had a different test.  I'm getting the "quad" blood test at my next appointment and it doesn't include information about the sex.

  We are...not only because we can find out at the same time as the a/s and not have to schedule a separate unnecessary appt, but we'd rather wait till it's as definite as possible. I have a friend who found out earlier, only to find out at the anatomy scan that she was having the opposite of what she was told anyway.
