DD has been in cloth diapers since the day we came home from the hospital. However, I've just discovered that we both have thrush, and she has a yeast diaper rash. I have disposable liners to use at home with the anti-fungal cream, but I don't trust daycare to use them correctly so I think I'm just going to get some sposies to send there.
I'm thinking Pampers... but I'm open to suggestions here. DD is a little over 16lbs, 26-27" tall. She's primarily in 6 month clothing, but we're in 9 month sleepers because of her height (and will probably be moving to 9 month clothes in the next month).
Anyone with a LO roughly her size? Which diapers do you use? If I use pampers, do I get the swaddlers, baby dry, cruisers? There are too many choices!! And would you recommend size 2 or 3? Size 2 says 12-18lbs, but size 3 starts at 16lbs, which she's at now.
Sorry, I'm very out of my element here... Any suggestions would be welcomed
Re: Disposable diaper help!
We use CD but when i had her in sposies we were sposie whores.. Pampers.. huggies.. Target brand..
I actually like the target brand a lot, and they were inexpensive..
I use Pampers - Swaddlers size 3 and then cruisers.
My good friend DD has very sensitive skin and swears by Honest diapers (Jessica Alba's brand). With her other kids she used Earth's Best Brand.
I echo the size 3 recommendation.
I do a mix of CD and sposies. When I do sposies, I use Earth's Best. I tried several more "environmentally friendly" sposies, and found that these were a good combo of (relatively) "green" and reasonable price.
