We have started playing a couple board games. We have tried Candyland and Hi-Ho Cherry-O. She does really good with Hi-Ho Cherry-O and ok with Candyland. (There is so much on the board it is hard to follow the path.) I just bought Chutes and Ladders as a mom sale today for $2. Any other other board games your LO's have tried. Obviously we are looking for things with simple counting and/or colors. DD loves games, and I am looking for more to play with her. She does not always have the attention for the whole game, but she sometimes does and loves to play.
Re: Board Games
I haven't really had played many board games with Noah yet, but I've been eyeballing Uno Moo (although I think it's still too old for him) https://www.amazon.com/Mattel-N7793-UNO-Preschool-Game/dp/B001UEWH9W/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2EPMAH3HN7MOJ&coliid=I1WMUPS10S7UAE
And he does like Lucky Ducks: https://www.amazon.com/Lucky-Ducks-Sesame-Street-Edition/dp/B004UC4LRW/ref=pd_sim_t_20 although he doesn't always get the concept
Have you played a Memory Game yet or Cooties?
We haven't tried memory recently. I saw cooties at the sale today too, but I have not heard of it before so I did not buy it. I have seen UNO moo before, and heard good things but never played it.i will have to look for it too.

I just remembered I bought that for Noah when TRU was having a sale. I was going to save it for Christmas. I think he'll love that!
I got "Sneaky Snacky Squirrel" on Amazon and have it tucked away to get out after the baby is born as a new toy to play with. It got good reviews and was on some lists for top toddler toys - I think it's similar to Hi Ho Cherry O.
I hadn't thought about memory - I should get that because she plays something similar on Nana's iPad and does pretty good with the early rounds.
Some great suggestions in this post!
I haven't really thought about them being old enough for board games yet, either, but we do have a Thomas memory that DS likes to play & is good at.
