Is anyone else's lo not holding their own bottle yet? Mine will put her hands on it but won't support it. I keep chalking it up to being ebf and not needing to for the most part. Am I correct?
I'd say if she is putting her hands on it, that is enough developmental achievement. I agree it could be because she doesn't have bottles that often.
We use glass bottles, so they are pretty heavy, so LO puts her hands on it but I never let her try and support it on her own cuz it would hurt if it fell!
Porter puts his hands on it but won't support it.....I think it's because the bottles are too big. We use Tommee tippee. I'm thinking of switching to a skinnier one
K has been holding his bottles for a little while. Once in a while though he wants to be lazy and will just lay there with his mouth open, smiling at me haha. So I will just hold it in front of him and tell him to take it. But if I want extra snuggles I gladly hold it for him

This. Same bottles too. Don't think I'll change though.

LO puts his hands up to his bottle but doesn't support it. I, too, have the Tommee Tippee bottles. I just bought a set of cups that have the soft nipple like tips but they flow waaaay to fast for him, he ends up kinda chocking on the liquid. I try to make him support his bottles when his hands are on the bottle but no such luck. I try not to worry about his development too much because I want to compare. It just stresses me out.
