DH wanted to come with me to get groceries.
Somehow we came home with no groceries. We got this instead (for the girls' room)
And since we actually needed something for tonight's dinner, we also bought this

Here's my FFFC, I don't like their meatballs.
I went to Ikea today too but left empty handed. I felt overwhelmed and tired.

I used to work for IKEA. I even got to represent them aboard the CBC 50th anniversary train when it stopped in Halifax. People there went nuts and thought it meant a store was opening. Sadly that was never in the plans. Well, it was never in the plans when I worked there 10 years ago. Maybe it is now. I mean, Winnipeg was no more than wishful thinking back then and they just got their store last November...

We just bought the matching 8 drawer dresser that goes with that piece, I love it!
I saw it and was very tempted to get it. But the idea is to get two of the 3-drawer chests to go with the girls' beds (we bought the ones that can be used as bunk or twin beds) so that they can each keep theirs when they stop room sharing. Although right now we only bought the one. The girls are still in their crib/toddler bed so there's no rush for us to get all the matching pieces for now. We got this one from the as-is section (woohoo!) and I'm hoping we can find another one there in a few weeks.
