NBR: Shopping tip

So, when I was out shopping with my FIL and his wife I was looking at pants at Costco. As you know there arent any fitting rooms there and I really had no idea what size I am. So FIL's wife said what you do when you cant try on pants is to pick up the pants, and wrap the waist around your neck. If the two sides touch, then they will fit. And to my surprise it actually worked! I told my mom and she knew that and thought she had told me. Apparently the area around your neck is half of that of your waist. Who knew?!?

So I just thought that I would share that little shopping tip. Any other tips anyone would like to share?

And I bet there are going to be a few moms out there who are going to try this at home after reading this Stick out tongue

yep! i used to tell my customers that back when i worked retail if they didn't have time to try things on. best tip ever

I pull the pants to each side of my waist. If they reach halfway around they'll fit my waist. Hope that makes sense.

Oh good to know! I've been eyeing some jeans at Costco but didn't want to guess on a size and I hate waiting in line to return things haha. I'm going to try this
