This may or may not work out like I think..we'll see.
Remember when we had the ask anything threads. I was thinking we could do a ask anything in one thread where you ask anyone anything. Of course the person you ask might not check the thread or answer your question so there's that. But eh it's a monsoon over here today and were stuck inside, so i'll go first.
Pandrill- Why do your call your bf "the boy" and do you call him that to other people? A image of a small child always comes into my mind lol!
Re: Q&A Thread
I'm hoping it stays innocent

Same! Little red star, here we come! Haha
Ohh I wish I was one of those cool girls! No, he is a police officer in our county so he uses his middle name as his last name so skells can't find him!
Peg- I've been meaning to ask you this! Having such a little baby to take care of does pregnancy seem to be going faster this time around? For what it's worth your pregnancy this time seems a lot faster to me!
Hah! I actually do call him that in real life in a lot of contexts. Years and years ago before TheBoy and I were serious, we used to spend lots of time with another couple (also a long-term, committed, but unmarried couple) and she used to call her man "Boyfriend". As in "Hey Boyfriend, could you grab me a Coke while you're up?" etc etc. I lived with them for a while and we were around them so much that I started calling him "Boyfriend" too.
So then I had to call my boyfriend something different when talking to her. So he became TheBoy. (And honestly, it fits for us. I'm only slightly older than him in age, but seem considerably older when you look at how we usually function.)
Several years back a coworker asked the same question. When I got home from work, I told TheBoy that my worker had asked why I called him that and TheBoy immediately said "Because Steve is Boyfriend."
I also call my parents "TheRents" frequently.
Lots of Marijuana! It's natures medicine, makes you feel great and has no bad side effects
LOL I knew there had to be a reason!
Ha! I would be down for anything at this point but DH is a deputy and I doubt his department would go for it! ::winky face::
Alcohol...theres always wine!
LOL
Plus in general, I always feel like being together long-term but unmarried has no good term in the US.
He's not my "husband", "boyfriend" makes it sound like we're in high school or have only been together a short time or are casual, "partner" makes me sound lesbian, and "baby daddy" sounds atrocious. So "TheBoy" he'll remain. He's Got Caps, He's Important!
Cajundid cheyanne make cheer??

Considering we had sex the first night hanging out after a bottle of Maker's Mark that's a good idea! I gotta spit this kid out and it's on! :winky face::!
yes. Booooo. I like my job but I like my kid a lot more. Im hoping to do a year and a half then leave mid year in 2014, have a baby, win the lottery and officially be done.
No she was so disappointed. She's going to try out for soccer next which imo is a much better fit for her.
Even a minor event in the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world event.
I'm a doula, not a midwife, but the doula thing is going great!
I've finished all my training and am now "allowed" to take my own clients, but am still a little nervous about doing so. I've attended one birth shadowing MY doula, and am set up to do one more with her at the end of the month, and think I'll probably put myself out there to take my own after that. I have to attend three on my own and get good reviews from the clients, nurses, and doctors/midwives attending to get my certification, but you don't HAVE to be certified to work as a doula. I just want to be because I think my clients deserve that from me.
We are done having kids on purpose....
We do have a TON of fun, but damn, they are a LOT of work! LOL! We are not doing anything permanent for at least five years because we are so young, and we don't think it's fair to make that decision for Future Mr. and Mrs. Sunrise. Who knows what they will want? But yeah, Current Mr. and Mrs. Sunrise are pretty damn sure we're done.
Oh boo. Soccer is good.

Seconded.
Bella - I love your style! You seem like you have such a good eye - have you ever thought of opening either a fashion or home accessories store?
Also, how to do stay so Switzerland with all the stuff going on around here
ETA:The reason we decided to go ahead with the tubal reversal was because of age. My goal was to get pregnant by 35 and we did, im glad we did too because pregnancy in my 30's was much harder than my 20's. I couldn't imagine it in my 40's!!!
Wow, I didn't know that you had that done. I hope you hold it over his head that you had to do that when he's a bratty teenager.
ETA: I'm glad it worked so quickly for you and you achieved your goal! One of my coworkers had a baby in her 40's and had a really, really rough pregnancy. Apparently her first one was a breeze, so she always says she was too old the second time around.
Oh yeah buddy a month of recovery for that surgery. It was awful! I'm keeping that in the vault with the 14 hours of labor
So you agree, you think she's really pretty? Because I do too, and super photogenic, which is super annoying ;o) How does your hair not frizz to shiiit in the humidity that is Florida?
Hi! I'm here. I've been lurking a lot. I stopped pumping which was my bump time at work and at home I feel like I'm on the go nonstop
But, don't worry I'll never leave!
Bubbajug: why haven't you sent me any butter cake yet?
SLT: how have you been coping lately?
Nell: Where are you going on vacay? I am SO glad your cat found its way home!
StokedWifey why are you SO flipping gorgeous!!
OnionLaide, how is E doing with the casts? When do they come off?
Buttercake is amazing. AH-MAZING. It's yellow cake with an 1lb of butter in it. It's all greasy and slimy with deliciousness. No one should ever have any, ever.
CWM- You have gotten none because one of us needs to be skinny and pretty with fab legs. I'm letting that be you. I'm taking one for the team. I am a good person.
That sounds hideous AND awesome.
I want to know this too! ANd how you're feeling in general about it now.
From a totally outside perspective it seemed like such a quick decision on such a big thing, I'm both impressed and extremely curious. I'm a total wuss about those things!
I'll third this one!
Because the toilet is the new water table lol. Mine loves the damn toilet. so disgusting!

Anyone want to start the over/under on how long it will be from the time Em gets her casts off and can move to the point OnionLady thinks to herself "OMG will you just stay in one place kid!!"? :-D
Honestly though, I'm super excited for the time coming up for you guys. It's been a long road.
