How far apart are you wanting your Lo's? When are you going to try again? Are you considering a PgAL mind of loss or throwing that out the window? I originally said 1 year but now I am just loving my Jackson time that I think I would be taking from him? I have 6 months to decide I guess.

Re: When are you trying again?
It's too soon to tell for us...we always wanted 4 but things changed up on us with our 2 losses plus also thinking about the financials behind having 4 kids!
My first 2 are 23 months apart and baby #3 is 2 yrs 9 months apart from our middle son. So far, I am liking the almost 3 year gap better. The older 2 are more independent and it has been a smoother transition so far. So "if" we go for #4, I would want at least a 2.5 year gap between the last 2.
Your little one is 6 months old so you definitely have time to plan it. Baby fever didn't really hit for me until each of my sons turned 1. We always new we wanted more but it wasn't until then that we were brave enough to try again. Good luck!

Nothing wrong with that. Yeah I never got on BC after I had Jackson so I guess anything really can happen. I have only had 1 AF though since I have been EPing. Good thing is you can still get your IUD taken out.
For me I would rather have both in the same stage but I don't know if it would be too much.

My brother and I are 21 months apart and only a year apart and school and it was definitely nice having him close. I think about this.

I want to start trying again once DS is about a year. Ideally, I'd love 2U2 so we can get through diapers and all that relatively close together. Part of me feels like we should start trying sooner, as it took us almost 2 years of TTC after losing Grace to get a BFP. But then DH says what if we start trying at 6 months and get a BFP right away? Then I say, we both know that a BFP does not by any means guarantee a take home baby... In all reality, we will most likely wait until DS turns 1 to start trying.
As far as PGaL brain goes, I'm sure I'll have it to some degree, but I have enough anxiety surrounding whether or not I'll even be able to get PG again...

We initially thought we wanted them to be ~18 mos apart.. so, start TTC when DS would be 9mos.. because we knew we wanted them close, I never went back on BC. When I went in for my PP check, my OB and I talked and she was perfectly fine with that.. she said their rec is for 12 months from birth-birth. I remember laughing and saying "oh yea, we don't have to worry about that".. because I thought to myself, that would mean getting pregnant RIGHT away after being cleared (my PP apt wasn't until 10wks or so!).
Well.. that first cycle we got a surprise BFP!
Obviously I can't comment on how difficult it is having them so close in age (yet!), but I will say the pregnancy part hasn't been nearly as difficult as I expected! I really thought exhaustion would be worse than it is, but so far it's been manageable. It's getting harder now that DS is mobile, but still doable with DH's help. (I also work FT, too)
Good luck with your decision!!

We wanted them really close, obviously, since I was purposely pg again at 5mo pp! If we hadn't had all the losses, we probably would've waited just under a year, but we started earlier kind of expecting more losses. Sad that we did that, and even more sad that it became reality.
Anyway, we're back on the wagon once AF arrives again (which it may be doing, yay)! Technically, I'm still pg from the last one as I'm going through decreasing beta hell again, but my docs are good with me going ahead if I have a period and O, even if there's still HCG in my system. I'm already being closely monitored, and they took my history and age into account.

My husband and I talked about having 2 and being done. I had to have an emergnacy C-section with Cole and that was pretty scary for me so I am pretty sure that experience sealed the deal with us only having 2 kids...Everybody keeps saying we need to try for a girl...BUT...I am fine with having 2 boys.. We were extremely blessed that Cole's birth went as smoothly as if did considering the emergency that I don't think I want to try and attempt it again and I truly am afraid to miscarry again.

I realize that my desire to be "one and done" at this moment may just be me trying to protect myself from more heartache. That tells me that I'm REALLY not ready. I've even thought that when we start DTD again, I want to use condoms in addition to the mini pill I'm taking. I just don't trust the pill alone.

I SO relate to this. I've always wanted two. DH is only just coming around to the idea of one (despite our two pregnancies), so I'm avoiding this conversation for now. I would really love for Malcolm to grow up with a sibling and I would selfishly love the chance to experience just one full-term pregnancy. Not that there are any guarantees.
